Banaras Hindu University UG Admission 2022 through CUET Application Process

According to Banaras Hindu University officials, to appear in the BHU entrance examination 2022 through CUET, the candidates need to fill up the CUET 2022 application form. CUET application form 2022 is now available until May 22, 2022. The application form can be downloaded from the NTA official portal https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Banaras Hindu University UG Admission 2022 through CUET application process is very simple and can be easily performed. The application process starts with CUET 2022 registration. The application can be done following the below-mentioned procedure: -

Step 1: The CUET 2022 registrations can be done through NTA portal https://cuet.samarth.ac.in

Step 2: Now, on the homepage Click on Register option.

Step 3: Go through the information bulletin section to be well informed about the CUET exam 2022.

Step 4: When you click on the Register option, a new page will appear on the screen. Include the personal details and other information asked for.

Step 5: Now select a password as instructed, choose a security question and answer and then click on the Submit option.

Step 6: On the submission of all the details, a system-generated Application Number will be provided and that must be used to complete the rest of the application process. It must be kept for future login too.

Step 7: Now login with the Application number and pre-set password and fill in the CUET 2022 application form with the required educational qualifications, personal details, details of test paper, selecting examination cities, universities/courses etc, and proceed to the uploading section.

Step 8: In this stage, candidates’ passport size scanned photograph, scanned copy of category certificate (if required), scanned signature, etc. need to be uploaded.

Step 9: Once all the documents are uploaded, pay the CUET 2022 application fees using credit card/debit card/Paytm/ UPI or by other modes of net banking.

Step 10: On the successful payment of fees for CUET 2022, a confirmation page will appear on the screen.

Step 11: Take the printout of the confirmation page and store it for future use.

Instructions for Banaras Hindu University UG Admission 2022 through CUET Application Process

NTA has provided some general instructions for filling up the CUET application form 2022 for Banaras Hindu University UG admission. The following instructions must be considered to avoid the cancellation of the application.

• Ensure that the provided mobile no. and email address are correct.
• Make sure that the Candidate’s name, personal details, qualifications, address details, test/subject options, examination cities, PwBD status, date of birth, gender, category, etc are correctly included and valid. No request for change in all these particulars will be entertained by NTA.
• NTA will not be responsible for the incorrect information provided by the applicant.

Instructions related to passwords and photographs are as follows:

1. The password must be created with 8-13 characters. 
2. The password must be created with at least 1 special character like @&*!
3. The password must be created with at least 1 Upper case alphabet
4. The password must be created with at least 1 lower case alphabet
5. The password must be created with at least 1 numeric value

Instructions related to uploading the photograph are as follows:

1. The scanned signature and photograph need to be in JPG/JPEG format
2. The scanned photograph must be between 10kb-200kb
3. The scanned signature must be between 4kb-30kb
4. Category certificate must be uploaded in pdf form and its size should be between 50kb-300kb.
5. PwBD certificate must be uploaded in pdf form and the size should be between 50kb-300kb.
6. Color/ Black & white photograph needs to be uploaded.
7. 80% face including the ears must be visible in the photograph.
8. Photo must be taken without a mask.
9. It should be taken against the white background.

Banaras Hindu University UG Admission Process 2022 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for the following tasks:

• Registering the candidates for the exam
• Conducting the test in CBT mode
• Preparing the answer keys
• Displaying the prepared answer keys
• Inviting challenges
• Confirming the answer keys
• Preparing the results
• Handing over the prepared results to Banaras Hindu University

Once the results will be handed over to BHU, the university will prepare the merit list according to the score. As per the revised information bulletin of NTA, the central universities can arrange their individual counseling sessions depending on the scorecard prepared and provided by the NTA. Banaras Hindu University has decided to follow that. 

Admission Process of Banaras Hindu University UG Admission 2022 will be done in order of merit reflected through the scores obtained in the CUET exam 2022. Apart from that, minimum eligibility criteria met by the candidates will be considered too. Minimum eligibility criteria for CUET courses which will be conducted only through CBT mode shall be confirmed by the university in the following manner:

Inter-Se-Ranking of Banaras Hindu University

The university has set some specific criteria for equal index marks for all courses. It will give first preference to the candidates who have obtained a higher total percentage of marks secured in the previous qualifying examination.

(Note: The above-mentioned rule will not be applicable for the B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons.) courses. For admission to these courses, the university will consider only the total marks obtained in science subjects.)

For the equal marks, the preference will be given to the age seniority of the candidates.

Once the merit list is prepared by the university, Banaras Hindu University UG admission 2022 counselling dates and admission dates will be confirmed and published consecutively on the university’s official website.
