BHU Forthcoming Schedule for UG Admission
has been released. Additionally, the University will send e-mails to admitted students regarding physical reporting, document verification, and hostel allocation information. Upgradation prior to the Spot Round started on September 5, 2024. If upgraded before the Spot Round, candidates must adjust their fees between September 5, 2024 and September 7, 2024 at 11:59 AM. Spot Round I registration is open from September 9, 2024, at 5:00 PM, until September 11, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Spot Round-1 (Seat Allocation & Fee Submission) is from September 12 to September 14, 2024. And, the physical reporting period for admitted students (excluding Spot Round candidates) is from September 13, 2024 (10:00 AM) to September 14, 2024 (04:00 PM).

The students are eligible to apply at Banaras Hindu University after qualifying in CUET 2024 entrance examination. However, it is important for the students to keep a track on stepwise process to fill the application for BHU admissions through CUET 2024. The students must note down important steps to take admission at BHU through CUET 2024.
Step 1 : First of all students must register themselves by visiting the official website of the university at http://bhuonline.in.
Step 2 : The students can register by clicking on the “New Registration” and can get the registration details by filling the email id and date of birth as per their class xth record.
Step 3 : The students who are already registered can login by entering CUET Application Number as their user id and password as set by them.
Step 4 : Once the students have registered themselves, they must complete the registration form by entering their personal details and upload all essential documents. They must maintain an active email id throughout the process of admission.
Step 5 : The students can preview the form filled by them and must make corrections if any as they will not be able to make any changes once it is submitted

NTA has provided some general instructions for filling up the CUET application form 2024 for Banaras Hindu University UG admission. The following instructions must be considered to avoid the cancellation of the application.

Make sure that the Candidate’s name, personal details, qualifications, address details, test/subject options, examination cities, PwBD status, date of birth, gender, category, etc are correctly included and valid. No request for change in all these particulars will be entertained by NTA.
NTA will not be responsible for the incorrect information provided by the applicant.
Instructions related to passwords and photographs are as follows:
The password must be created with 8-13 characters.
The password must be created with at least 1 special character like @&*!
The password must be created with at least 1 Upper case alphabet
The password must be created with at least 1 lower case alphabet
The password must be created with at least 1 numeric value

The scanned signature and photograph need to be in JPG/JPEG format
The scanned photograph must be between 10kb-200kb
The scanned signature must be between 4kb-30kb

When the CUET 2024 results are released, the university creates a CUET 2024 merit list based on the score. According to the NTA's amended information bulletin, central universities can schedule individual counselling sessions based on the scorecard developed and submitted by the NTA. Banaras Hindu University has made the decision to follow suit.
BHU admissions through CUET 2024 will be done in order of merit reflected through the scores obtained in the CUET exam 2024. Apart from that, minimum eligibility criteria met by the candidates will be considered too. Minimum eligibility criteria for CUET courses which will be conducted only through CBT mode shall be confirmed by the university in the following manner:

Inter-Se-Ranking of Banaras Hindu University
The university has set some specific criteria for equal index marks for all courses. It will give first preference to the candidates who have obtained a higher total percentage of marks secured in the previous qualifying examination.
( Note : The above-mentioned rule will not be applicable for the BSc and BSc (Hons.) courses. For admission to these courses, the university will consider only the total marks obtained in science subjects.)
For the equal marks, the preference will be given to the age seniority of the candidates.
