CCSHAU Entrance Exam 2025 for BSc Agriculture

The Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University course admissions for BSc Agri will be done based on an entrance exam which will be conducted by the university itself. Students need to qualify for the CCSHAU entrance exam, the Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT), for admission to the course.

The CCSHAU admission 2025 exam for BSc Hons. Agriculture four-year program and BSc Hons. The agribusiness management program will be of 3 hours and  30 minutes. Nearly 30 minutes are for completing the pre-exam formalities and 3 hours for solving the question paper. The medium of the test is English and there’s no negative marking.

For BSc Hons. Agriculture 2+4 Year program, the duration is 2.30 hours (30 minutes for pre-exam formalities and 2 hours for solving the paper). The medium of the test is English/ Hindi, and there’s no negative marking.

The minimum qualifying marks for the test is 50% in aggregate and 47/5% for SC and PwD candidates. The merit list will only be prepared for the candidates who qualify for the entrance test.

All the students who want to get admitted to the BSc Agriculture course at CCSHAU will have to first register for the admission test. The candidates will have to fill out the application form online by entering the required details. The candidates can follow the given instructions to fill out the application form for CCSHAU Haryana BSc Agriculture admission 2025:

  • Step 1: Fill out the online application form with all the required details carefully.

  • Step 2: Upload the scanned photographs, signature, and proof for the concession of the fee if applicable by the candidate.

  • Step 3: Make a payment of INR 1,500 (General) and INR 375 for SC/ Deprived SC/ BC/ EWS/ PwD using the suitable mode to bank i.e., Net banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

  • Step 4: Print the confirmation page after the successful remittance of the fee.

Note: The final submission of the online application form will remain incomplete if steps 2 and 3 are not completed. Such form will stand rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.

  • For BSc Agriculture (Honours) 4-year programme : Students must have passed Class 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics or Agriculture stream/CBA from a recognised University/Board with 50% marks in 10+2 (relaxable up to 47.5% for Scheduled Caste and Persons with Disability (PwD) students).
  • For BSc Agriculture (Honours) 2+4 year programme : Matric or equivalent with 60% marks (relaxable up to 57% for 14 Years Scheduled Caste and Persons with Disability (PwD) students) from a recognised board.

CCSHAU BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2025

Students can check out the detailed step-by-step guide that they can follow to enroll in the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University for the BSc Agriculture 2025 course admissions:

  • Students who have qualified the Entrance Test/ Agriculture Aptitude Test/Common Entrance Test are eligible for online counselling and required to register for online counselling on the admission portal after paying the fee of INR 1000/- (except MBA programme).
  • Students are required to fill in their choice of college for UG and disciplines for PG programmes, priority-wise wise at their login created at the time of submission of the admission form. Once the choice is locked, it will not be changed.
  • Upload their required documents for admission.
  • Make payment of INR 1000/- (except MBA programme) through Net-banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page after successful remittance of the fee.
  • The result of seat allotment will be available at their login as per the dates mentioned in Annexure-II.
  • Students should download the provisional seat allotment letter and report physically to the venue as per the schedule in Annexure-II, for verification of documents, deposition fee, and registration of courses by them through online
  • If the student does not report on the scheduled date and time he/she will not be considered in the subsequent cut-off list.
  • After verifying the original documents, the student shall have to pay fees through the online mode at the time of reporting.
  • If the student does not upload the required document for admission he/she will not be allotted a seat for admission. Such students will be considered in the next cut-off list after uploading/updating the desired documents.
Important: Please note that Vacant seats post-allotment will be filled based on merit from qualifying exams for direct admission.
