Diploma in Housekeeping Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for a diploma in housekeeping program in order to get admission. The minimum requirements will be determined by the particular college to which the candidate is applying. However, some of the major requirements for admission are provided below:

  • Candidates who have cleared 12th or any equivalent examination from any recognised board or university with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates with English proficiency are also eligible. Admission to the diploma in housekeeping program is done on the basis of entrance exam or merit. The college will select students for admission on the basis of their scorers in 12th examination or any equivalent examination. However, there are some colleges which conduct an entrance examination to check the interpersonal and communication skills. Some of the major exams conducted for hospitality are AIHMCT WAT, AIMA UGAT, BIT Mesra Hotel Management Exam and BVP CET.
