The admission process for B.Ed admission to DY Patil University is based on MAH B.Ed CET 2020 exam. The counselling process for the admission will begin soon.

DY Patil University (DPU) enrols the students in B.Ed course on the basis of MAH B.Ed CET 2020. All the candidates who have cleared the MAH B.Ed CET 2020 are eligible to register for the counselling process conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell. While participating in the counselling process, the candidates will have to choose DPU as the first option. Based on the merit position or rank in the entrance exam, the seat will be allocated. Apart from the state-level centralized counselling, eligible & interested candidates can also get direct admission under management quota. The admission process for management quota will begin after the centralized counselling.

DPU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates who are interested in applying for the B.Ed course at DPU can take a look at the eligibility criteria given below:

  • A candidate should have passed the Bachelor's Degree in Science, Social Science / Humanities / Commerce from any university recognized approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the minimum marks determined by the State of Maharashtra and NCTE. Or

  • Bachelor's degree from any known university with minimum marks chosen by the state of Maharashtra and NCTE.

  • He/she should have at least one primary / allied or optional subject at the first and/or second-degree levels.

  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD & other categories will be given the 5 per cent reservation and relaxation in the total marks as per the rules of the state of Maharashtra.

  • The candidates must have a valid score in MAH B.Ed CET 2020. 

How to Apply for DPU B.Ed. Admissions 2020?

Candidates willing to secure admission through MAH B.Ed CET 2020 will have to register for the entrance exam first. After clearing the entrance exam, the candidates will have to register for the counselling process. For direct/ management quota admission, the candidates will have to visit the college directly or fill the application form through the official website of the university. 

Documents Required for DPU B.Ed Admissions 2020

The documents required for admissions 2020 for the B.Ed program at DPU Mumbai are as follows: -

  • Class 10th and Class 12th certificates (compulsory).

  • Provisional degree certificate, if the candidate has graduated.

  • Transfer certificate and migration certificate for non-Karnataka applicants.

  • Address Proof (Aadhaar Card / Election Card / Driving License / Passport).

  • Copy of the acknowledgement of online payment.

  • Two recent passport size coloured photographs. (Dimensions: 35 mm x 45 mm)

  • Copy of passport and visa for NRI applicants

DPU B.Ed. Selection Process 2020

The selection process for DPU B.Ed admission is based on the Centralized Counselling conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell. The candidates will be allocated seat as per his/ her merit position in the rank list and choices filled. While filling the choices, the candidates will have to choose DPU as the first option so that the chance of securing admission in DPU under state quota will be high. For direct admission, the selection is based on MAH B.Ed CET rank or UG marks.

DPU B.Ed. Fees 2020

The approximate fee for B.Ed course in DPU is Rs. 50,000 per annum. The revised fee structure will be updated here after the commencement of admission process.

It is not possible to update the APRDC CET application form through the official website. You will have to contact the authorities through the helpline numbers - 7093323250 and 9100332106. The authorities will help you with changes in the application form.
