Kerala Paramedical admission process 2020 is being conducted by LBSCST (LBS Centre for Science and Technology), State Government of Kerala. Through this process, the admissions to Paramedical courses at different medical colleges in Kerala will be conducted. The professional degree courses included in the process are B.Sc. M.L.T, B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology, B.Sc. Optometry, Bachelor of Physiotherapy,Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Bachelor of Dialysis Technology, and Bachelor of Cardio Vascular Technology.
The application process for Kerala Paramedical Admission concluded on 26th August 2020 and the uploading of documents was available till 29th September 2020. Eligibility Criteria for Kerala Paramedical Admission 2020
Kerala Paramedical eligibility criteria for 2020 admission is laid down by the conducting authority of the process. From the age limit for Kerala Paramedical admission 2020 to nationality to academic eligibility, candidates can find all the information below.
Academic Requirements
Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary level of examination.
The examination must have been conducted by the Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education.
Candidates who have passed an equivalent examination as approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur are also considered eligible for admission.
For B.Sc. M.L.T. and B.Sc. Optometry, candidates must have scored at least 50 percent in aggregate in the following subjects - English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
For B.C.V.T., B.Sc. Perfusion Technology and B.P.T, candidates must have scored at least 50 per cent marks separately in Biology as well as in aggregate in the following subjects - Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
For B.A.S.L.P., candidates are required to have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in the following subjects - Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/ Biology/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ psychology.
Age Criteria
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2020.
There will be no relaxation in the minimum age requirement.
Except for the candidates belonging to the service quota, there is no upper age limit for Kerala Paramedical admission 2020.
For service quota students, the upper age limit is 46 years. This means that the candidates must not be older than 46 years as of December 31, 2020.
Nativity
Only the Citizens of India are considered eligible for Kerala Paramedical admission 2020.
PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders will also be considered as Indian citizens for admissions. Although these candidates will not be considered eligible to avail of any kind of reservation.
Candidates of Kerala origin will be considered as ‘Keralites’ and will be considered for State Merit seats.
Non-Keralite students will be considered against State Merit seats.
Rank List/ Merit List for Kerala Paramedical Admission 2020
Kerala Paramedical admission 2020 rank/ merit list will be published as three different lists for different courses.
Rank List I will be published for M.Sc. M.L.T and B.Sc. Optometry seat allotment.
Rank List II will be published for B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology, B.C.V.T, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology and B.P.T. seat allotment.
Rank List III will be published for B.A.S.L.P. seat allotment.

How to Apply for Kerala Paramedical Admission 2020
The application process for Kerala Paramedical admission 2020 will be conducted entirely in an online format. Candidates can find the step-wise application process for paramedical courses in Kerala below.
STEP 1: Registration
For first-time users, registration would be the first step in the application process.
Candidates will have to visit the official website of LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Kerala, and click on the ‘New Candidate’ button.
In this step, candidates will have to fill in all the basic information that is required for the application.
Candidates must make sure to fill the correct information in the step as providing false or incomplete information in the step might affect the eligibility of a candidate for admission.
After filling up the registration form, candidates will have to click on the ‘Save and Continue’ button.
STEP 2: Fee Payment
In this step, applicants will have to make an application fee payment either through Online Payment or via Challan.
For online payment, candidates can use Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
After completion of the online payment, candidates will receive a message reading ‘Transaction Successful’ and will be displayed their Application Number.
For payment through Challan, candidates can get three different copies of Challan (Office copy, Candidate Copy, and Bank Copy) from the website.
Candidates must note their application numbers for future purposes.
STEP 3: Application Entry
Candidates will be provided with a registration ID.
With the help of this, candidates will have to log into the website and begin filling the application form.
It must be noted that candidates will be requiring their Registration ID and password for future login.
STEP 4: Upload Images
Uploading required documents and images is a crucial step in the application process.
Candidates will have upload a recent passport size photograph.
The photograph and candidate’s signature should be in jpeg format.
STEP 5: Final Confirmation
After completing the fourth step, applicants will be able to preview their application form.
They must check all the entered information to ensure that the information is true to nature.
Finally, they will have to accept the declaration (by checking the box) to make the final submission.
Candidates must also take a print out of the application form.

Normalisation Procedure for Kerala Paramedical Admission 2020
To make sure that the whole selection process is fair for each candidate belonging to different boards, the normalisation process is conducted.
In the process, the marks scored by candidates in each subject in the Qualifying Examination from different boards are made comparable with the marks scored by candidates in the same subjects in the examination that is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala.
The normalised marks for the same subject can vary for different boards. For instance, the maximum marks in Chemistry out of 100 in the case of the state board maybe 100 and 99 in the case of ISC.
Kerala Paramedical Admission 2020 Counselling Process
The Centralised seat allotment process for Kerala Paramedical Admission 2020 will be conducted by the Director of LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Kerala.
The process will be completed through an SWS (Single Window System).
To participate in the process, candidates will have to register themselves with LBSCST website and enter their course choice.
Kerala Paramedical admission 2020 seat allotment will be strictly based on the rank lists, availability of seats and the options exercised by the candidates.
After scrutinising application forms of the candidates, the first allotment will be published on the LBSCST website which will be based on the options registered by candidates.
After the first allotment list, there will be released a second allotment list to further the process on the date notified by the conducting authority.
In the case of vacant seats even after the above-mentioned steps have been carried out, there will be a Spot Allotment. The registration and seat allotment norms for this step will be the same as above.
After a candidate has been allocated a seat, she/ he will have to report to the assigned college and further the enrollment process.
