Windows Operating Systems Supported:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit) (excluding 'S Mode')
  • Windows 8.1 (64-bit) (all editions except 'RT')

Other Windows OS Requirements:

  • Windows Operating Systems must pass Genuine Windows Validation.
  • Dual-Core / i3 or above processor
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (or higher) installed/enabled in your system
  • Note that Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 7 are strictly prohibited for exam delivery.

Mac Operating Systems Supported:

  • macOS 10.12 (excluding beta versions)
  • macOS 10.13 (excluding beta versions)
  • macOS 10.14 (excluding beta versions)
  • macOS 10.15 (excluding beta versions)

Requirements for Both Windows OS and Mac OS Computers:

  • OS specified minimum RAM
  • 4 GB RAM or more
  • Attached or integrated working camera, allowing the camera to access the video capture during the exam
  • Administrator privileges to install applications
  • Internet with consistent speed (equivalent to browsing) (2 to 5 Mbps)
  • Supported web browsers – Chrome (Ver 82.0 or above), Firefox (Ver 68 or above), Safari (Latest version)
  • Disabled pop-up blockers in the web browser
  • Installed updated Antivirus software
  • End all web-sharing applications like Skype, Team Viewer, MS Teams, Zoom, GoToMeeting, ShareIt, Webex, etc.

Steps to Take Before the LSAT India 2024 Test Day

Ahead of the test day, it's essential for all candidates to conduct a thorough system check to ensure optimal functionality during the exam. In addition, candidates must complete the following preparations in advance:

1. Candidates should confirm that their equipment meets the specified system requirements outlined above.

2. Candidates need to carry out the System Verification Steps. An email with the subject line 'LSAT India 2024- Get ready for Home proctored exam' will be dispatched to them, containing comprehensive details regarding the System Verification process. This process will require candidates to acquire their Username and Password from their LSAT login account, download the secure browser (which varies for Windows and Mac), and verify their system's compatibility by logging into the provided link.

3. During the test scheduling window, candidates were required to indicate their preferred date and time for the Test Appointment on the Registration Dashboard.

4. Specifics about the Test Appointment, including date and time, will be accessible through the Registration Dashboard a few days prior to the test date. An email notification will also be sent to candidates with this information.

5. It is of utmost importance that candidates acquaint themselves with the testing environment by undertaking the LSAT India Mock Test, which is accessible via the Registration site. This simulated testing experience closely mirrors what candidates will encounter on the actual test day.

LSAT India Exam Day Guidelines 2024

The guidelines for the LSAT India 2024 exam day are outlined as follows:

Pre-Test Preparations:

Before commencing the test, candidates are required to verify the following:

1. In the test area, only a computer and a webcam (if separate), a valid and permissible Photo ID, pens or pencils, two blank sheets of scratch paper, and water are allowed.

2. Sufficient illumination must be present to ensure clear visibility of the candidate's face.

During the LSAT 2024 Exam:

In the context of LSAT India 2024, the following are the exam day guidelines:

1. Candidates must ensure a punctual log-in. Failure to do so will result in an inability to reschedule the test.

2. Identity verification by a proctor will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

3. Candidates are required to "accept" the terms outlined on the Instructions page in order to initiate the test. Declining these conditions will prohibit test-taking.

4. Actions such as leaving the seat during the test, speaking aloud, or allowing unauthorized individuals into the testing area are strictly prohibited.

5. The candidate's face must remain visible within the video frame throughout the test duration.

6. The usage of headphones, headsets, earphones, etc., is forbidden during the test.

7. While insertable nonelectronic foam earplugs are allowed for testing, candidates should not wear them while their photo is being taken.

8. It's important to note that once a test taker moves to another section, they will be unable to return to the section they left.

Identity Card (ID) Requirements for LSAT India 2024

Candidates must make sure that they have one of the following IDs during the exam:

  • Election Card/Voter ID

  • UIDAI/Aadhaar Card 

  • Employee ID comprising photograph and signature

  • Driver’s License

  • PAN Card

  • Passport

Note: Soft copies/photocopies of an ID, learner’s driver’s license, notarized copies, and Aadhaar registration slip will not be accepted.

Forms of Misconduct While Taking LSAT India 2024

The following are considered forms of misconduct and can further lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s LSAT India score: 

  • Having an electronic device beside the system in the workspace or using it for any purpose

  • Using a mobile phone for any purpose 

  • Speaking aloud

  • Allowing the face to leave the webcam’s frame on the screen

  • Interacting with anyone during the test

  • Attempting to run any application other than the test application

  • Accessing any prohibited materials

  • Leaving the seat for any purpose

  • Attempting to copy the test material or record the screen

  • Sharing details of LSAT India 2024 in any form, oral or written on the internet or through any media or means

  • Connecting or disconnecting any external storage devices

To secure admission to the B.A LLB programme at Swami Vivekananda Law College, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks (SC/ ST category candidates - 40%). The programme is 5 years long and divided into 10 semesters. It has an intake of 120 students. The programme is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
