BHMCT admission process in the state of Madhya Pradesh will be managed by the Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The conducting body will select the candidates for Madhya Pradesh BHMCT admissions on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The counselling and seat allotment procedure is arranged by the DTE to intake candidates to the hotel management and catering technology courses. AICTE use to approve the course at a regular interval. Therefore, candidates can be sure about the authenticity of the course. The online registration for stage 1 has been started on August 5, 2022. The final date of registration for MP BHMCT admission 2022 is August 20, 2022. For stage 2, the online application will be started on September 1 and it will continue till September 11, 2022. The final date for choice filling for stage 1 is August 24, 2022. MP BHMCT Counselling Process 2022

Admission to the BHMCT program will be done through counselling on the basis of scores in the qualifying examination. The conducting body has released the counselling schedule on its official website. Besides this, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh will not release any separate letters to the students. You can follow the steps provided below to register for the BHMCT counselling process.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh

Step 2: Next, choose the programme for admission

Step 3: Click on “Apply for Counselling” button

Step 4: Once the registration for the counselling process is done,  log in to the page to fill the DTE MP BHMCT 2022 application form

Step 5: Fill all the required fields in the application form

Step 6: Proceed to attach documents such as passport-sized photographs and mark sheets

Step 7: Once done, submit the application form

Step 8: After that, proceed to the choice filling process

Step 9: Change the choices already filled in before the deadline (if required)

MP BHMCT Admission Merit List 2022

After the completion of the choice filling process, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh will release a merit list that will contain the names of all selected candidates. The merit list will be prepared according to the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination. Selected candidates will be called for the online off-campus admission process.

MP BHMCT Admission Process 2022

Admission to the colleges will be done on the basis of a merit list. Only those candidates whose names are on the merit list will be called for the admission process. Admission for the NRI candidates will be done for those institutions that have got permission from the appropriate authority to fill 5% of the sanctioned intake by NRI candidates only. 

Besides this, candidates who have secured equal marks in the qualifying examination will be selected on the basis of their age. Preference will be given to the older candidate. Around 10% weightage in the qualifying marks will be provided to the candidates who have won Gold Medal in the National level Sports Competition. Those who have qualified for the qualifying examination with grace marks are also eligible to apply for admission. However, the examination body will not include the grace marks for selection.

MP BHMCT Admission Seat Allotment Process 2022

The officials will allocate the seats to the candidates who have cleared all the rounds of the counselling process. Candidates are advised to go through some important points for the seat allotment process of Madhya Pradesh BHMCT admissions given below.

• Reserved category candidates who will secure a place in the merit list of the unreserved category will be considered for the seat allotment process under the unreserved category.

• Candidates of the reserved category will be called in a specific order i.e Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes/ Scheduled Castes to fill the vacant seats of the general category

• If some seats remain vacant after the completion of the first round of counselling then the decision regarding the second round of counselling will be taken by the managing authority. The decision will be made after considering the number of vacant seats.

MP BHMCT Admission Reservation Policy 2022

Some important information regarding the seat availability of Madhya Pradesh BHMCT admissions is as follows:

• In private institutions, 100% of the approved seat intake will be for the general pool in such institutions that have not received approval from the All India Council of Technical Education for taking in foreign candidates
• 95% of the approved seat intake will be for the general pool in the All India Council of Technical Education approved institutions that have received permission for the intake of non-resident Indian students. And they can fill up to 5% of approved seats by these candidates.
