MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must check the MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 eligibility criteria to understand if they are allowed to apply. All backwards class candidates with Degree/ Post Graduate degrees from Out of Maharashtra Universities will be considered Open Category candidates. Find the detailed requirements below:
- There is no upper age limit for MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025. The age will be calculated as of 01/07/2025.
- The aspirant must be an Indian National and have passed their Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with at least 50% of Marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class Categories belonging only to Maharashtra State).
OR,
- They should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with an aggregate of 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State).
OR,
- Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply for the CET. These candidates will become eligible for admission only if they produce their marks or degree certificate of the qualifying examination.

- All India Candidates
The candidate must be an Indian National (he/ she should have a domicile certificate from the State where the candidate belongs or the candidate should have a birth certificate issued by the respective State Government). The OMS (Outside Maharashtra State) candidates need to fill out the CET application form through the Open category.
- Minority Candidates
The Maharashtra-domiciled applicant belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from within the State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category (these candidates should have completed their Graduation and/ or Post Graduation from the state of Maharashtra and have domicile certificate from the State of Maharashtra, otherwise they cannot claim for Minority Candidature). Students from outside of Maharashtra are not eligible under this category.
- NRI Candidates
NRI candidates will have to register for MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 as foreign candidates in the official CET portal. The applicants will be provided with the registration link.
- Jammu & Kashmir Candidates
The children of residents who are displaced from Jammu and Kashmir to any part of India or from unsafe border area of Jammu and Kashmir to a relatively safer place in Jammu and Kashmir from 1990 onwards due to terrorist activities, or children of IAS, IPS or IFS officers, or the children of staff and officers of Jammu and Kashmir police engaged in combating terrorism are eligible under this category and will be provided admission under the supernumerary quota.
MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 Application Form
The MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 application form is released on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Applicants need to visit the website to fill out the application form. The candidates are advised to download the information brochure and go through all the important guidelines. The application form will only be accepted after the scanned copy of the documents and the application fee receipt has been submitted. - Registration
Visit the official website, mahacet.org and click on the MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 option followed by clicking on the “Apply Online” option. For registration, you need to provide your name, contact details and email ID. After successful registration, a verification email will be sent to your email address with your provisional registration number and password. The same will be sent to your mobile number as an SMS.
- Fill the Form
You have to start filling out the MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 application form. The name of the applicant or his/ her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the SSC/ HSC/ equivalent certificates/ mark sheets. Any change or alteration found may disqualify the candidature. You must validate all the details and upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Save the details and submit the application form.
- Pay the Examination Fee
The MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 examination fee payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallet. The fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Guidelines for Photograph and Signature Upload
Check below the instructions that have been set by the CET Cell to upload the photograph and signature at the time of the MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 application form fillup.
- The photograph must be recent, passport-size, and coloured.
- Dimension 200 x 230 pixels is preferred. The photograph should be of the size of 2 x 2 inches (51 mm x 51 mm).
- The size of the photo file should be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
- The picture should be taken against a light-coloured, preferably white background
- If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be seen.
- Photographs taken wearing caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face as your face should be visible.
- The applicant has to sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
- Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels are preferred.
- The size of the file should be between 10 KB to 20 KB.
- A signature in capital letters shall not be accepted.

MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025 Selection Process
The students willing to study M.P.Ed have to appear for MAH M.P.Ed CET 2025. After the release of the MAH M.P.Ed CET result, the successful candidates will get to appear for the counselling round. To participate in the MAH M.P.Ed CET counselling process, you have to register yourself, fill out college choices and pay an application fee.
During the counselling process, seats are allocated to the candidates based on their marks. Aspirants who are satisfied with the seat allotment can report to the respective colleges. You can also raise an objection in case you are not satisfied with the allotment of seats. However, the final decision will be made by the conducting authorities.
