SNAP has released a Test Day Social Distancing Guide for candidates appearing for SNAP 2020 on December 20. Candidates must take note of all of the following important exam day instructions to avoid any issues on the exam day.

SIU conducted SNAP 2020 in three phases, two of which were on December 20 and January 6 and the third will be on January 9. If you are appearing for the exam, you must have already spent months in SNAP 2020 Preparation. To ensure that all of your hard work is rewarded, it is important to prepare yourself for the exam day as well. SNAP has released a comprehensive Test Day Guide to help candidates navigate themselves on the exam day. Candidates have been advised to follow social distancing norms and they must download the Arogya Setu app to be allowed entry in the exam centre.

SNAP 2020 Admit Card Instructions
All candidates must bring a print out of their SNAP Admit Cards to the examination centre for verification purposes. Here are some of the important instructions regarding SNAP 2020 admit card, specified by the conducting authority.
SNAP 2020 admit card will be available for download from the official website i.e. snaptest.org on the dates mentioned above.
Candidates must take acoloured print outof their admit cards and bring it to the exam centre. A black and white print out or a digital copy will not be considered valid.
Thelatest passport size colour photoof the candidate must be pasted on the Admit Card in the space provided. Candidates must paste a recent photograph no older than 3 months from the date of the examination.
Along with the admit card, candidates must carry an ID proof to the examination centre. Given below is a list of documents that the candidate must carry.

The following important information will be mentioned on the admit card of a candidate:

Candidates mustget the SNAP Admit Card stampedby the invigilator on the exam day. Candidates must keep the admit card safe until the admission process has been completed.
Keeping the original admit card safe is very important as SIU does not issue a duplicate admit card in any case.
Candidates must note that after they have paid the SNAP application fee, no requests for change of exam centres will be accepted.
Candidates are advised to locate the examination centres one day before the exam. Candidates must ensure that they make the necessary arrangements to reach the exam centre beforehand.
Candidates must make any necessary arrangements for travel and accommodation themselves. For candidates appearing in a different city, this may or may not be required.
SNAP 2020 Exam Day Guidelines
Given below are some of the important guidelines issued by Symbiosis International University (SIU) to be followed on the day of the SNAP 2020 exam.
The candidate must reach the examination centre by the reporting time i.e. 9 am.
Candidates must bring their admit card to the exam centre. No candidate will be allowed to enter without their SNAP admit card.
Candidates will be required to go through a verification of their SNAP 2020 admit card and ID proof before they are allowed inside the exam centre.
Candidates must report to the exam centre by 9 am and no candidate will be allowed to appear for SNAP after 11.10 am.
Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, wristwatches, digital watches etc. will not be allowed inside the exam centre.
If a candidate brings any of these items, they may have to arrange for their safekeeping themselves.
Candidates must follow the instructions given out by the invigilators at the examination centres.
Invigilators will ask for a candidate's admit card and ID proof for authentication.
The exam will begin at 11:00 am and the duration will be 60 minutes.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the entire exam duration is over i.e. before 12 noon.
Candidates can attempt the sections in SNAP 2020 in any order.
The conducting body has specified that SNAP 2020 exam will end at 12 noon and no extra time will be provided to a candidate (except DA) under any circumstances.
Candidates should not use any unfair means during the SNAP Test 2020. Any candidate who is found using unfair means will be disqualified for admission and will not receive SNAP 2020 Scorecard.
The scores received by a candidate will be final and candidates will not be allowed to apply for revaluation.

SNAP 2020 Guidelines for Differently Abled Candidates
Differently Abled candidates appearing for SNAP 2020 must take note of the following test guidelines issued by the conducting body.
Different Abled candidates appearing for SNAP 2020 must contact the Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) with scanned copies of the Medical Certificate. The Medical Certificate can be sent via mail at info@snaptest.org.
The Medical Certificate will be required to verify the percentage of disability of a candidate.
Candidates who fail to produce a Medical Certificate will be required to appear for the exam under Open Category.
A Different Abled candidate who requires a scribe must make arrangements for the scribe themselves. The conducting body does not provide a scribe to any candidate.
Additionally, the scribe selected by the candidate must have at least completed matriculation (Class 10th) and at most, he/she must be in the 2nd year of a graduate degree course.

SNAP 2020 COVID-19 Instructions
SIU has already changed the SNAP exam pattern keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of questions and the exam duration have been reduced to 60 and 1 hour respectively. Additionally, candidates must follow the following important instructions to stay safe from the COVID-19 pandemic during the SNAP 2020 exam.
SIU has released the Test Day Guide including Social Distancing Guidelines for the candidates appearing for SNAP 2020. These social distancing instructions for SNAP reveal the arrangement made by SIU at various test centres and must be followed by the candidates for their safety. Following are the instructions that candidates appearing for SNAP 2020 have to follow.
SNAP 2020 Pre-Exam Instructions
Instructions Regarding Reporting and Entry at SNAP Exam Centre
Wear a mask at all times and maintain a safe distance from other candidates and invigilators.
Report to the exam centre as per the time mentioned on their SNAP admit card.
Strictly avoid overcrowding and maintain social distancing at all times.
Maintain queue and stand in the floor marks outside the gate.
Follow the announcements made by the security guards at the exam centre.
Keep the required documents ready for verification once you reach the entrance.
Instructions Regarding Checks at Exam Centre Gate
Maintain social distancing while showing the Admit Card and original ID proof to the security guard.
Your body temperature would be checked with a thermo gun from a safe distance.
Show your status on the Arogya Setu app at the exam centre.
You will not be allowed to appear for SNAP 2020 if the following conditions exist
Body Temperature is about 99.14 F
'Medium' or ' High Risk' status on the Arogya Setu app
Instructions to be Followed in the Baggage Area (if available)
Some of the SNAP exam centres will have a baggage area available for the storage of personal belongings of the candidate. Following are the instructions to be followed regarding the same.
Sanitize your hands before entering the baggage area.
Coordinate with the exam authorities as a limited number of candidates will be allowed in the baggage area.
Place any prohibited item that you are carrying in the baggage area.

Sanitize your hands again and proceed towards the document verification desk.
At the exam centres where a baggage area is not available, candidates must store their belongings at their own risk.
Instructions Regarding Document Verification and Bar Code Scan
Marks will be placed on the floor to help maintain social distancing in the queue at the verification desk.
Show your admit card to the desk volunteer from a safe distance.
Admit card will contain a bar code, which will be scanned by the volunteer and your lab no. will be informed.
Instructions Regarding Usage of Lifts (if available)
Lift usage instructions will be posted inside and outside the lift for the candidates.
Lifts should only be in necessary. Otherwise, you must use stairs and maintain social distancing.
In case a lift has to be used, 2 persons are allowed inside small lifts and 4 persons inside large lifts.
Use the sanitizer bottles placed inside the lift after touching the buttons.
SNAP 2020 Instructions to Be Followed During The Exam
Given below are the instructions that a candidate must follow while the test is being conducted.
- Candidates will be under CCTV surveillance at all times during the test to discourage any form of malpractice.
- If required to sign on the attendance sheet, sanitize your hands before and after doing so.
- Sheets for rough work will be provided to the candidate. Use your own pen only for any rough work.
- For any system-related issues, inform the invigilator and maintain social distancing during the same.
- Inform the invigilator in case you have to visit the washroom to the test. You will be accompanied by a volunteer to the washroom entrance and back.
- If you are asked to move to another system during the test, maintain social distancing with the volunteer.
SNAP 2020 Post-Exam Instructions
After the exam is over, the candidates must behave in an orderly fashion till they leave the exam centre. Here are the post-exam instructions for SNAP 2020.
A drop box will be available in which candidates must drop their rough sheets used during the test.
A separate box will also be available for exception forms, if any.
Social distancing must be maintained while exiting the examination centre.
Volunteers will guide the candidates along the exit path. Candidates must follow their instructions.
The used masks and gloves must not be disposed of at or outside the exam centre. Candidates must dispose of them at their homes.
