The B.Ed entrance exams can be conducted either in online or offline mode depending on different conducting authorities. The questions are generally in the Multiple Choice Questions (Objective type) where the students have to choose one correct answer among the four options given. The incorrect answer may or may not contain some negative marking.

Generally, there are two papers in the B.Ed entrance exams, Paper I is for language and Paper II is for teaching ability subjects. Paper-I will consist of an evaluation of language proficiency for Hindi, English or other states wise specific languages. On the other hand, Paper-II will consist of an evaluation of teaching-related subjects such as General Awareness, Teaching Ability, Aptitude and specific subject ability.

The entrance exam is generally of 3 hours duration and the language of the paper will be Hindi and English (may include other languages depending upon the state).
