  MAH MCA CET Result 2024

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell is expected to release the MAH MCA CET result 2024 tentatively in May 2024. The MAH MCA CET 2024 results will be declared online on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates will be able to download their MAH MCA result 2024 by using their login credentials. Details about the subject-wise marks of candidates will be mentioned in the MAH MCA CET scorecard 2024. Candidates who are declared qualified will be eligible to participate in the MAH MCA CET counselling and admission process for the MCA course. 

MAH MCA CET Cutoff 2024

MAH MCA CET cutoff marks are released soon after the MAH MCA CET results are announced. Applicants who qualify the MAH MCA CET cutoff 2024 will be shortlisted for MAH MCA CET Counselling Process. A minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) is required by the candidates to be eligible for counselling. The MAH MCA CET merit list will comprise the names of candidates in order of ranks secured by them in the test. Candidates who are shortlisted via the MAH MCA CET merit list will be eligible for the counselling session. Candidatescan contact the organizing authority in case of any discrepancy in their score.

    The documents specified below need to be uploaded and candidates will have to bring the original documents to the reporting centres for verification.

    Certificate from the employer in the proforma – B stating that father/mother of the candidate who is a Maharashtra State Government/Maharashtra State Government undertaking employee. Or Undertaking along with documentary evidences from the retired employee stating the place of settlement.

    The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) in Maharashtra for the year 2024 is a standardized procedure for admissions to various professional courses offered by Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions, Government, Government Aided, and University Departments. The CAP process ensures a fair and transparent admission system based on merit and eligibility criteria. Here is an overview of the CAP process in Maharashtra for 2024:

    1. Online Application Form: Candidates seeking admission to First Year Computer Applications should fill the Online Application Form. There are two categories of candidates:

    a. CET Candidates: Candidates who qualify for admission based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Competent Authority need to apply online without paying any application fee.
    b. Non-CET Candidates: Candidates who qualify for admission based on National Level Examinations approved by Maharashtra State, except the CET conducted by the Competent Authority, should apply online and pay the required application fee as specified in the Information Brochure.

    1. Application Fee: The application fee varies for different courses and categories of candidates. The fees are paid online, and the details of the fee structure can be found in the Information Brochure.
    2. Facilitation Centers: The Competent Authority designates Facilitation Centers where candidates can go to fill the Online Application Form and upload the required documents. Alternatively, candidates can also fill the form and upload documents from any computer connected to the internet.
    3. Document Verification: Candidates must visit the designated Facilitation Centers for document verification. It is mandatory to produce all original documents in support of the claims made in the application form. Once the application form is confirmed, no changes can be made by the candidate.
    4. Display of Merit Lists: Provisional and Final Merit Lists of eligible candidates are displayed on the website. Candidates can submit grievances, if any, within the specified period. However, no documents will be accepted to substantiate the claims made in the application form after the scheduled dates.
    5. Seat Matrix: The Competent Authority publishes the Category Wise Seats (Seat Matrix) available for each CAP Round. This information includes details about institutes, courses offered, sanctioned intake, and the number of seats available for each category.
    6. Online Option Form: Candidates must fill and confirm the Online Option Form, indicating their preferences for courses and institutions before each CAP Round. The choices should be ranked in decreasing order of preference. Once confirmed, the Option Form cannot be changed.
    7. Provisional Allotment: The Competent Authority displays the Provisional Allotment for each CAP Round, indicating the allotted institute and course.
    8. Reporting and Admission: Candidates who receive an allotment must report and accept the offered seat at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) within the specified schedule. After reporting to the ARC, candidates should report to the allotted institute for further admission procedures.
