What is passing criteria for Maharashtra SSC students?

To pass the Maharashtra Class 10 Board Exams 2026, students must secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. This requirement applies to both the theory examination and internal assessment/practical components, wherever applicable. Students are required to achieve the minimum passing marks separately in theory and practical exams, as prescribed by the board. If a student fails to score 35% in one or more subjects, they will be considered unsuccessful in those subjects and may need to appear for the supplementary (compartment) examination conducted by the board. The supplementary exams provide students with another opportunity to improve their performance and clear the subjects they were unable to pass in the main examination. It is important for students to carefully check their marksheet after the results are declared and ensure they meet the passing criteria in all subjects to be promoted to the next academic level.

Maharashtra SSC Marksheet 2026

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune, will release the Maharashtra SSC Marksheet 2026 after the declaration of results in May 2026. The online marksheet will include important details such as the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, percentage, and qualifying status. Students are advised to carefully verify all the details mentioned in the marksheet after downloading it. The original marksheet, however, will be distributed later through the respective schools. Students must collect their official hard copy from their schools, as it serves as an important document for future academic admissions and other formal procedures.
