Maharashtra SSC Science and Technology Part 1 Question Paper Pattern 2026
The question paper pattern for Maharashtra SSC Science and Technology Part 1 is discussed below:
- Maharashtra SSC Science and Technology Part 1 Exam is conducted for 40 marks.
- The duration of the paper is 2 hours with 15 minutes of reading time.
- It is compulsory to attempt all the questions.
- Use of a calculator is not allowed.
- The question paper consists of four questions in total.
- Question number 1 is divided into two parts. The first part of the question paper consists of 5 MCQs for 1 mark each. The second part of the question paper consists of 5 objective-type questions for 1 mark each.
- Question number 2 is also divided into two parts. The first part of the question consists of 3 very short answer-type questions for 2 marks each, out of which you are only required to attempt 2. The second part of the question consists of 5 very short answer-type questions, out of which you are only required to attempt 3 for 2 marks each.
- Question number 3 consists of 8 short-answer-type questions for 3 marks each, out of which you are only required to answer 5.
- Question number 4 consists of two questions for 5 marks each, out of which you are only required to answer one.
Maharashtra SSC Passing Marks 2026
Students appearing for the Maharashtra SSC exam need a minimum of 35% marks in each subject to pass. This 35% applies to both the theory and the practical/ internal assessment together. For subjects with 100 marks total, 35 marks are required, while for subjects with 80-mark theory papers, 28 marks (that is, 35%) are necessary to pass. Students need a combined 35% out of 100 in Maharashtra SSC Science and Technology Part 1 and Part 2 to pass the subject. Meaning, out of 80 marks (40 + 40), you need 28 marks to pass.
Maharashtra SSC Grading System 2026
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) uses a percentage-based grading system to award marks for class 10th students. The grading system comprises 4 grades: Distinction, Grade I, Grade II, and Grade Pass. It is calculated on aggregate marks from six compulsory subjects under the "Best of 5" rule, where applicable. On achieving more than 75% marks in the aggregate, students will get distinction division marks. First division or Grade I will be achieved on scoring not less than 60% marks. For the optional subjects, no marks, only grades will be provided.
Maharashtra SSC Marksheet 2026
The original Maharashtra SSC marksheets for 2026 will be provided to students by their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. The SSC result is expected on May 13, 2026. On successfully passing the Maharashtra SSC exam 2026, the original marksheet will be provided in the third week of May. Students must clear all school dues before collecting them. However, provisional marksheets will be available online at mahresult.nic.in or boardmarksheet.maharashtra.gov.in. Students can access it using their roll numbers after the results are released.
