Based on the number of vacancies available, each participating university will declare the CUET 2026 Spot Counselling. Candidates who did not acquire a seat in the original CUET counselling 2026 sessions can participate in the spot CUET 2026 counselling rounds. In order to do so, they are required to first register themselves on the official website varsity. In order to participate in the CUET counselling 2026, aspirants will have to visit the institutes and get their respective documents verified by the admission officials of the educational institute.

The counselling process for the CUET 2025 exam also includes a personal interview in which applicants are asked questions about their academic background, interests, and career goals. After the documents and personal interview are completed, the applicants must pay the CUET exam counselling fee.
In general, fees are non-refundable. CUET application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
CUET 2026 counselling process is conducted by the respective Universities. The Universities will prepare their respective Merit Lists for the offered programmes and fill the seats.
CUET counselling process 2026 will start after the CUET result gets released in July, 2026.
CUET spot admissions refer to admission of those students who are not offered a seat during the counseling session. The students are allotted seats on the basis of vacant seats after the counseling process is over for the first round.
