TG TET 2026 Admit Card

The TG TET Admit Card will be released online on the official website. Candidates will be able to download it using their login credentials.

TG TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the TG TET 2026 exam (earlier known as TS TET 2026), students must have a BEd/ DEd/ Language Pandit or similar qualification. TGTET scores are given 20% weightage in state-run teacher recruitment exams, while the Teacher Recruitment Exam is given 80% weightage (TRT).

There is no limit to how many times a student can attempt to obtain a TG TET certificate. TG TET Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria (Classes 1 to 5)

To meet the TG TET 2026 eligibility criteria, students applying for Paper 1 must meet one of the following criteria:

• Students must have completed Class XII or an equivalent course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD students).
• Students must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma, a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed), or a two-year education diploma (special education).

• Students must have completed Class XII or equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 45 percent (40 percent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD students).
• Students must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma/ a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B El Ed), or a two-year education diploma (special education). This eligibility requirement is only valid for students who passed or were admitted to D El Ed/ D Ed before the TG TET 2026 notice was released.

TG TET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria (Classes 6 to 8)

To meet the eligibility criteria for TG TET, students applying for Paper 2 must meet one of the following criteria:

• Students must have completed a BA/ BSc/ BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD students).
• Students must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree (B Ed- Special Education).
  Or
• Students must have completed their BA/ BSc/ BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD students).
• Students must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree (B Ed- Special Education). This qualifying requirement applies solely to students who passed or were accepted into the BEd program before the publication of the TG TET 2026 rules.
  Or
• Students must have completed a four-year BA Ed/BSc Ed program with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD students).

• Students must have completed a four-year BA Ed/BSc Ed program with a minimum of 50% overall (45% overall for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PhD students).
