UPCATET 2024 Exam Pattern at UG Level
As has already been mentioned in the article, the UPCATET 2024 exam pattern will vary depending on the course and program. Therefore, to guide the candidates we have mentioned the details regarding the exam pattern of undergraduate programs.
- Total number of questions would be 200 and the duration of the exam would be 3 hours.
- The examination paper would consist of four groups such as PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), PAG (Agriculture) and PHS (Home Science).
- Candidates who wish to appear in the PCB group can take admission in subjects such as Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Forestry and Veterinary Science.
- Candidates who wish to appear in PCM group can secure admission in Agriculture, Horticulture, Home Science and B. Tech programs.
- Candidates who wish to appear in PAG Group can secure admission in Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Forestry, and B. Tech in Agriculture Engineering and Biotechnology subjects.
- Candidates who wish to appear in the PHS Group in UPCATET can secure admission in B.Sc. Home Science subject.
- For each correct answer given by the candidate he/she will be awarded 3 marks and for every incorrect response 1 mark will be deducted.
- No marks would be deducted for questions that are left un-attempted.
- The UPCATET 2024 question paper will be available in two languages: English and Hindi.
