IIT JAM Cutoff for IIT Bhilai

IIT Guwahati has begun the IIT JAM Counselling Process 2023. The first counselling list for IIT JAM 2023 will be released on June 1st, 2023. The deadline for submitting the online payment fee for the first admission list is June 7, 2023. The IIT JAM 2023 fourth admission list will be declared on July 4, 2023.

IIT Bhilai Course Admission

IIT Bhilai admission to its 20 UG, PG, and PhD courses is based on scores obtained in various national-level entrance exams. Admission to IIT Bhilai’s flagship B.Tech program is based on the JEE Advanced rank followed by JoSAA counselling. The eligible students should register for the JoSAA counseling for their seat allocation after the result declaration of JEE Advanced. The total fee for the IIT Bhilai B.Tech program is INR 4.9 Lakhs. For B.Tech in the CSE stream, the cut-off ranges between 3046-8444 for the general category.

IIT Bhilai also offers admission to PG courses such as M.Tech, MSc, etc. To secure a seat in these popular programs, students should obtain valid scores in the national level entrance exams such as IIT JAM, and GATE, followed by the Personal Interview round. 

Along with the UG and PG programs, IIT Bhilai provides PhD programs under various disciplines. Shortlisting criteria for PhD admission is done on the basis of an IIT JAM exam conducted by the institute followed by a Personal Interview round. However, candidates having valid scores in GATE/ CEED/ UGC/ CSIR Exams are also considered eligible for the IIT Bhilai PhD program. 

IIT JAM Admission Procedure in IIT Bhilai 2023

After declaring the IIT JAM result, qualified candidates are invited to fill up the online application form on the official website of JOAPS. After visiting the official website, the candidates need to fill in the required details such as category, educational qualification, marks etc to fill the application form. In this round, the candidates who are having top ranks are allotted top colleges.

On successful completion of 1st counselling, the second round of counselling will be conducted. This will be followed by the 3rd round of counselling to give all the qualified candidates a fair chance for enrolling themselves for quality education at the various IIT JAM Scores accepting institutes.

After declaring the 1st admission list, the admission process in various IITs and IISc for MSc courses starts. The candidate who has received high marks in the exam and appears in the IIT JAM 1st admission list can take admission to IIT Bhilai through first counselling. Otherwise, the candidate has to wait for the second and then a third & final round of counselling, respectively.
