NIT Jalandhar Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

NIT Jalandhar admissions are now open for the academic year 2024 for various courses. For B.Tech admissions, JEE Main scores are taken into consideration. Registration for JEE Main 2024 session 2 commenced on February 2, and will end on March 2, 2024 for B.Tech admissions. The entrance exam will be conducted from April 4 to April 15, 2024. For NIT Jalandhar admissions to M.Tech courses GATE scores are considered. GATE 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. M.Sc admissions at NIT Jalandhar are determined on the basis of JAM scores. IIT JAM 2024 is scheduled on February 11, 2024. 

For NIT Jalandahar admission in MSc courses, JAM 2024 registration portal is now open. Candidates interested in MSc admission at NIT Jalandhar can register for JAM till October 13, 2023. NIT Jalandhar offers a two-year M.Sc. programme with three specialisations. 

NIT Jalandhar M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline is required.
• A candidate's graduation grade point average must be at least 60%.

NIT Jalandhar M.Sc Selection Criteria

• The initial admission to the M.Sc programme is based on the results of the IIT JAM.
• After successfully completing the CCMN counselling round, a candidate is offered an admission seat.

NIT Jalandhar offers a four-year B.Tech programme with 11 specialisations. For its B.Tech programme, the institute charges a total fee of INR 3.52 Lakhs.

NIT Jalandhar B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed his 10+2 with at least 60%.
• Candidates must have completed 10+2 studies in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

NIT Jalandhar B.Tech Selection Criteria

• The first round of selection is based on JEE Main scores.
• Candidates are shortlisted for JoSAA counselling if they have a valid JEE Main score.
• A merit list is created for students who achieve high marks in the JEE Main exam, and seats are assigned based on their rank and the availability of seats in the institute.

NIT Jalandhar MBA Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required for admission to an MBA programme.
• In addition, he or she must have received at least 60% of the marks in graduation.
