Sri Venkateswara College Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Sri Venkateswara College follows the guidelines of the University of Delhi for admissions to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Sri Venkateswara College admission criteria for the UG courses is the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) and for the PG courses is the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). The first step for students for UG admission is to clear the CUET UG exam. The CUET UG result 2022 was published by the NTA, on September 16, 2022, on cuet.samarth.ac.in. Based on the results, Sri Venkateswara College will prepare its individual merit list along with the counselling schedule. Students need to register themselves on the Common Seat Allocation System portal or the CSAS portal as the next step of the Sri Venkateswara College admission 2022. The detailed Sri Venkateswara College admission process is mentioned below:

• The Common Seat Allocation System or the CSAS DU consists of 3 phases.  
• The first phase comprises applying to the University of Delhi (DU).
• The second phase involves the selection of the preferred colleges and courses by students.
• The third phase is the allotment of seats and admission confirmation.
• Candidates must note that the admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as declared by the NTA on their CUET Result 2022 scorecards. 
• The programme-specific merit scores of students will be auto-calculated by the university based on the eligibility criteria and reflected on the CSAS dashboard.
• The CSAS phase 1 and 2 were open till October 12, 2022. In phase 2, students selected their preferred courses and college combinations. 
• As per theDU and CUET Samarth guidelines, students should select as many choices of courses and colleges as possible during the second phase of CSAS. This is advised to avoid problems during seat allotment. 
• Currently, the third phase of the CSAS portal is ongoing where seats are being allotted to students in multiple rounds. 
• CSAS's First allocation list was declared on October 18, 2022
• The second merit list will be released on October 30, 2022, and, the third list on November 10, 2022. 
• Moreover, the 1st spot allocation list will be out on November 10, 2022.
• An important step during the Sri Venkateswara College UG admission 2022 is the acceptance of seats by students. They must accept their seats within the mentioned dates which are October 18, 2022, to October 21, 2022, for the first round of CSAS seat allotment.  In case they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” from their end and the seat will be given to the next eligible candidate. 

Around 59,100 candidates have secured a seat in the first round. The vacant seats for Round 2 were displayed on October 26, 2022, at 10 am, on the CSAS portal. The list can be accessed on the site admission.uod.ac.in.

As mentioned above, the SVC UG admissions are based on the CUET scores along with a basic criterion of Class 12 and the PG admissions are based on the DUET scores. If a candidate has completed his or her Bachelor’s from any DU-affiliated college or is applying for a related course, then he or she can opt for merit-based PG admissions as well. However, if the candidate is applying for a course different than that of his Bachelor’s or has graduated from a non-DU college, then it is a must to attempt the DUET exam.
