  JEE Main January Session Question Paper Analysis 2023 (Available): Check Difficulty Level, Weightage, Good Attempts

  JEE Main Session 1 Exam Analysis 2023 is being released as and when the JEE Main January session shifts are conducted. Candidates can review the whole exam analysis of the JEE Main session for both sessions here. As per the exam pattern, JEE Main exam is conducted online, whereas the drawing test is offline. The exam was based on the 11th and 12th class syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In JEE Main 2023, Paper 1 consists of 90 questions i.e. 30 questions in each section with a total of 300 marks, Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively, with 400 marks each. Every correct answer will be awarded with 4 marks whereas an incorrect answer will lead to a negative marking.

  JEE Main Question Paper Analysis 2023 (Day-wise) 

  JEE Main 2023 Paper Analysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is to conduct JEE Main 2023 in two sessions: January and April. Phase 1 of JEE Main 2023 exams was held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 & February 1, 2023, and Phase 2 of JEE Main 2023 will be held from April 6 to 12, 2023. In order to provide justice to the candidates who attempted a difficult or tough question paper, NTA uses a normalisation procedure based on percentile scores so that the candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged. The true merit of the candidate can be identified through the normalisation procedure. Therefore, NTA compiles JEE Main 2023 scores for multiple session question papers through a normalisation procedure based on percentile scores. What is Normalisation Procedure? Normalisation procedure is a popular practice of comparing candidates’ score across multiple sessions question papers. Percentile equivalence is used for normalisation across all sections of the exam. Normalisation procedure is incorporated in all popular national and state-level entrance exams.  The normalisation process is used to derive a solution affected by different shifts and different question papers. It assures that applicants are not disadvantaged or benefitted as a result of the examination's difficulty level. The goal is to uphold the rule of law and find actual merit. Normalization is a well-established method for comparing candidate scores over multiple-session examinations, and it is comparable to the method used in other major educational selection tests in India.
