UPSC CSE 2023: Exam Pattern
The selection procedure for UPSC CSE consists of Prelims and Mains examination. Both exams will be conducted offline and the instructions will be available in Hindi and English both. There will be two papers in prelims and 7 papers in the main exam out of which two papers are optional. The maximum mark for prelims is 400 and for mains, it is 1750. The duration will be two hours for each paper for the prelims exam and 3 hours for each paper for the mains exam. Candidates who wish to appear for the 1st year junior college examination have to fill out the form before 31st March 2023. To fill out the form, candidates will have to visit the official website- tsrjdc.cgg.gov.in. The payment of the fee must also be completed between the 1st to 31st of March 2023.
The exam will take place in an offline mode in both English and Telegu. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates will be asked 150 objective-type questions in total.
