The CAP 2026 selection process is based on CAT cutoff percentiles, work experience, and academic performance. For the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT), the cutoff percentiles were maintained at 95 for General category candidates, 66 for SC, and 42 for ST/PwD. The IIM CAT 2025 cutoff marks can range from 90 to 100 percentile, depending on the IIM college you wish to take admission to. For admission to some of the top IIM colleges in India, like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Calcutta, through the CAT exam, students will require a qualifying CAT percentile of 80-85. The CAT 2025 official answer key is expected to be out by December 10, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be held on November 30, 2025. Based on the previous years’ trends, the answer key as well as the response sheet of the entrance test are likely to be released around 7-10 days after the exam has ended. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will be responsible for releasing the CAT 2025 Official Answer Key. Candidates will be provided an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key before the final answer key and results are published.

The CAT 2025 Result is expected to be declared by or before December 25, 2025, at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates will also be informed about the same individually by SMS. This year, IIM Kozhikode is responsible for conducting the entrance test and announcing the results. Candidates who took the test can enter their CAT login ID and password to view their respective CAT Result 2025. The scorecard will be valid till December 31, 2026. After the result is out, no queries related to the issuance of CAT 2025 scorecards will be entertained.

The CAT 2025 Response Sheet is expected to be released by December 10, 2025. The exam will be held on November 30, 2025. The answer key is also likely to be made available on the day the response sheet is out. Candidates can use the response sheet to get an idea of their estimated score and percentile.
