Placement Tezpur University placements in 2022 (when I graduated) was very good as I was able to land a job even though I am a mediocre student. I got placed in TCS with Rs 4 LPA package. I also got an offer from Wipro but the package was just Rs 3 LPA so I rejected that.

Tezpur University (Assam) does not offer a B.Tech in Food Engineering—it provides only an M.Tech in Food Engineering & Technology, which requires a GATE score (Food Tech/Agricultural Engg.) or performance in the university's entrance exam. Since it’s a central university, JEE Main scores are not applicable for this programme. For B.Tech in Food Tech, consider NITs (JEE Main rank ~50,000–100,000) or state/private universities like SHUATS Allahabad (60–70 percentile in JEE Main). If targeting Tezpur University, focus on GATE for M.Tech admission
