
Colleges affiliated to Delhi University are considered as the best colleges by students, and they aspire to seek admission in these prestigious colleges every year. However, not even a single college of DU manage to secure a top rank in National Assessment and Accreditation Council or NAAC rankings. As per NAAC, the highest grade is A++, and no college of DU secured the top grade.

According to the report given by NAAC, only three colleges out of 60 have received an A+ grade. They are: -
- Hindu College - 3.60 points
- Lady Shri Ram College for Women - 3.61 points
- Shri Ram College of Commerce - 3.65 points
One of the officials mentioned that the colleges have to get 3.76 to 4 points to bag A++ rating.

NAAC rating is given on the basis of the following parameters: -
- Innovations and best practices
- Management, governance and leadership
- Progression and student support
- Learning resources and infrastructure
- Consultancy, research and extension
- Teaching, learning and evaluation
- Curricular aspects
The ratings of NAAC surprised everyone as none of the college secure A++ grade. NAAC rating is applicable for five years.

- Jesus and Mary College
