Preparation of MAH CET Merit List 2024

Take a look at the different stages involved during the preparation of the MAH MBA CET merit list 2024:

1. Assignment of Merit Number: All eligible candidates who have submitted the MAH MBA CET 2024 application form on or before the last date for Admission through CAP shall be assigned a merit number.
2. Change of Marks Due to Verification: If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is duly certified by the concerned Appropriate Authority or Board, the same shall be reported to the Competent Authority for admission through CAP or its designated representatives prior to 5 p.m. on the day of display of final merit list.
3. Method of Calculating Marks at Qualifying Examination for Deciding Eligibility: While deciding the eligibility of the candidates, the following procedure shall be adopted: 

• The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to the nearest integer, i.e. if the percentage of marks comes out to be 44.50% to 44.99% then it shall be rounded to 45% and if the percentage of marks comes out to be 44.01% to 44.49%, shall be rounded to 44% for deciding the eligibility.
• If letter grades are assigned at SSC, HSC, Diploma, Bachelor of Science or its equivalent examination, candidates must submit the certificate of conversion of letter grades into equivalent marks from the concerned Competent Authority or Board at the time of submission of the application form. The eligibility shall be decided on the basis of equivalent marks.
• If the Candidate re-appears for the qualifying examination with all subjects, then the marks obtained in the latest examination shall only be considered.
• The Grades or Marks are considered on the basis of which the class of Degree is awarded.

4. Provided that, in case of a tie, the relative merit of Candidates shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below:––

• Higher percentage of marks in HSC or Diploma
• Higher percentage of marks in SSC
• Higher marks in the Science subject in SSC
• Higher marks in the Mathematics subject in SSC
• Higher marks in English in SSC

MAH MBA CET 2024 counselling process, officially known as the Centralized Admission Process, is a crucial step in the admission process which is conducted after the release of the cutoff. Candidates who wish to take part in the counselling of MAH CET 2024 must register themselves initially. Check out the stages involved in the counselling process.

• Online Registration: Candidates who have appeared for the exam are required to register online for the CAP by visiting the official website. This process is mandatory and must be completed within the given time frame.
• Verification of Documents: After completing the online registration, candidates need to visit the designated Facilitation Centers (FCs) for document verification.
