CMAT 2020 Result

The CMAT 2020 Result will be announced by NTA on the official website of CMAT by the 7th of February 2020. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level, computer-based management entrance test. Every year, a large number of candidates apply for this online test. Until the year 2018, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) used to be the conducting authority of CMAT. However, CMAT 2020 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To view the CMAT 2020 Result, candidates can log in with Application Number and Password or Date of Birth.

The CMAT 2020 application process will start from 1st November 2019 as announced by NTA and will end on 30 November 2019. Therefore, candidates are advised to be attentive enough to fill in the application form on time and start preparing for this national-level examination.

CMAT is taken by candidates who wish to pursue management programmes. Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in various sections like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness.

The CMAT 2019 result was declared on 6th February 2019 by NTA whereas, the CMAT result 2018 was announced on 15th February 2018 by AICTE on its official website which included candidates' section-wise marks and overall score. By providing credential details, candidates were able to view their respective CMAT scores.

On the basis of CMAT 2020 result, NTA will also release a merit list to shortlist candidates for admission. Candidates need to download and print their respective CMAT 2020 scorecards from the official website, as no hard copy of the scorecard is sent at their postal address.

  • The qualifying marks for CMAT 2020 are expected to vary between 140-300 this year.
  • The section-wise CMAT 2020 Results are declared after the CMAT 2020 exam is conducted. The result list includes all the candidates who qualify in the CMAT exam.
  • An email is sent to the qualified candidates on their registered email, informing them about CMAT scorecard. It won’t be sent by post.
  • In the scorecard, 4 sections of the CMAT examination include details of the marks obtained by the candidate.
  • The CMAT scorecard includes a scale score for each section, total scores as well as a percentage ranking.

  • Visit the official website of NTA to view CMAT results.

  • Click on the appropriate link available on the home page of NTA i.e ' View CMAT 2020 Result'. 

  • Log in by entering the required details such as Application Number and Password or Date of Birth.

  • After that, click on 'Submit' Tab.

  • CMAT scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

  • Download and save the scorecard.

  • Take a printout for further reference.

CMAT 2020 Result Calculation

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2020 is expected to be held on January 2020 for the aspirants of management studies in India and the candidates must also know about the CMAT 2020 result calculation. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also announced the CMAT 2020 result date. It will be released in February 2020 on the official website of CMAT for the candidates who will successfully appear for the examination. The result is the most important part of CMAT and its aspirants, as it will determine the fate of the candidates. A good CMAT score will help candidates in taking admission in top AICTE approved B-Schools of India. Therefore, candidates must work hard to achieve a good score in the examination.

The CMAT 2020 Result will be calculation will be done on the basis of the marking scheme provided by NTA. There are a total of 100 questions of 100 marks that must be answered in 180 minutes. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer, a candidate will lose 1 mark. No mark/s shall be deducted for unattempted question/s. The CMAT 2020 percentage can be calculated by a formula mentioned below.

Percentile Formula : P = ( (N - your rank)/ N) x 100

In this N is the total number of test-takers who will appear in CMAT 2020, whereas, P stands for Percentile.

Post CMAT 2020 Result Declaration

After the CMAT 2020 result declaration, the Participating Colleges of CMAT 2020 will release their cut-off list for CMAT 2020 for the candidates. The cut-off list will determine the list of candidates who will be forwarded for the selection process through CMAT 2020. The result of CMAT 2020 will be declared in the month of February 2020 after which the institutional cut-offs will release and the eligible candidates will be able to apply for their desired B-School.

The candidates who will face the CMAT 2020 selection process must know its constituents. The selection procedure will include a round of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Some management institutions may also conduct around written test before the GD and PI round to extract the creamy layer out of the hundreds. Based on candidates’ performance, merit list will be announced by the institutions followed by the admission process.
