CLAT 2026 Dress Code: CLAT 2026 exam is going to be conducted on December 7, 2026. You must follow CLAT dress code strictly to avoid disqualification. The guidelines outline specific rules regarding attire and accessories, including the CLAT 2026 exam dress code for female students. Knowing the LLB dress code is essential, as wearing prohibited items can lead to issues during frisking or entry.

CLAT 2026 dress code is intended to standardize what you may wear in order to prevent you from bringing forbidden objects or hidden materials into the hall. This is especially crucial because the CLAT draws thousands of applicants from all over the nation, and even a minor security breach could ruin the testing atmosphere. CLAT 2026 Dress Code emphasizes on simplicity, clothing transparency, and avoiding accessories that could obstruct security screening are usually highlighted in the requirements. Additionally, you can avoid last-minute misunderstanding on exam day by being aware of CLAT dress code beforehand. Inappropriate clothing might cause frisking delays or, in severe situations, entry refusal. As a result, students need to be aware of the guidelines regarding appropriate attire, footwear, and accessories like watches, jewelry, and headgear. In addition to demonstrating compliance, adhering to CLAT dress code guarantees a stress-free exam day. Read the article below for a complete overview of CLAT 2026 dress code, allowed and banned items, and other key instructions for exam day.

CLAT 2026 Advisory Recommendations

On the day of the examination, students must learn a few secret tricks and tips. To have a successful exam, they can be used a few hours prior to the exam. CollegeDekho has created a list of a few crucial instructions to assist the applicants in coping with their anxiety and results-related pressure.

Do not study new things on the exam day: students believe that they will have enough time in their hands after their exam syllabus and revision are over and there is time to read about some extra topics related to CLAT that they probably missed out on. On the day of the exam, we advise students to not start a new topic. This would puzzle the students as their minds would be occupied with new topics and overburden them with information, which would confuse them when it came time to take the test. Instead of revisiting the course calmly and preparedly, students typically panic once they start memorising more information.

Cross check all the documents: Even though the students will maintain all the necessary documents close at hand for the exam day, it is advised that they double-check them to reduce the likelihood that any documents will be overlooked. Don't forget to bring your CLAT 2026 admit card and a form of identification to the exam site, such as an Aadhaar card, driver's license, or PAN card.

Make sure to know the accurate exam location: To avoid any form of trouble when approaching the exam centre, students must have in-depth knowledge about it, including its location, the distance from their homes to the centre, travel time, popular surrounding landmarks, etc. The venue allocated to the applicant can be found on the admit card and is based on the availability of the exam centre.

Take enough sleep: All the students must get a solid 7-8 hours of sleep each night to maintain mental clarity and a working thought process.

Be punctual: students must arrive at the exam location on time. It is highly advised to arrive at the exam location at least 45 to 1 hour prior to the test to avoid difficulties like traffic jams or car problems.

Don’t bring along prohibited items: Inside the test room, students should not bring any banned things such as electronic devices like cell phones, digital watches, calculators, and the like. The only things they need are their admit card, their ID, and some basic stationery items like pencils, pens, and erasers. Anyone found breaking the law will be disqualified from the test.

Check the seating arrangement: As soon as they go inside the exam venue, the test-takers must check the seating arrangement. To confirm that the specified seat is the one that will be taken and to stop wasting time after reporting time in looking for the seat, the seating arrangement must be reviewed in addition to other information such as the name, date of birth, and roll number.

Scribe facility for PWDs and SAPs: PWDs and SAPs who prefer to use a scribe must email the completely completed proformas (Appendices I, II, and III) available on the official website to the Coordinator managing the city in which they have been allotted a Test Centre. They should do this by 5 PM on December 15, 2022. Requests submitted after 5 PM on December 15, 2022, will be ignored. students who belong to the Specially Abled Persons (SAP) categories will be given 40 minutes of extra time to finish the CLAT exam.

CLAT 2026: Misconduct Rules

Everyone who will take the CLAT 2026 exam is cautioned not to cause any type of disturbance inside the testing facility. If someone is discovered to be acting inappropriately in any area at the centre, unfavorable repercussions will have to be accepted.

No consideration will be given to students who have been found guilty of the following:

  • Using any prohibited items inside the exam room.
  • Attempting to imitate or pass for someone else.
  • Acting inappropriately during the test or during the interview.
  • Making inappropriate use of the application.

The following are the negative effects that misconduct brings about:

  • The students might be immediately removed from the test.
  • Depending on the severity of the wrongdoing, students may be permanently or temporarily excluded from the college hiring process via the CLAT examination.
  • The disqualification for that student would still be applied even if no guidelines were taken into consideration during the selection process.

Yes, candidates are allowed to use a pen and blank sheets of paper for rough work during the LPUNEST online proctored exam. The sheets must be completely blank before the test begins, and the proctor may request a webcam check of these sheets at any point.
