CLAT 2022 Admit Card (Out)

CLAT 2022 admit card has been released on June 6, 2022. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card to the exam centre on the day of the exam. To download the CLAT 2022 admit card, candidates will be required to log into their portal by entering their Username and Password. They can download the PDF file and take a printout of the admit card. Candidates can also download the CLAT 2022 admit card by clicking on the link given below.

A self-declaration medical form is also attached with the CLAT admit card and candidates need to fill in all the details and carry it on the day of the exam. Candidates can also take a look at the CLAT Admit Card Additional Instructions here. CLAT admit card mentions the candidate's name, date of birth, reporting time, and exam centre address. Before taking the printout of the CLAT 2022 admit card, candidates must verify all the details mentioned on the admit card and must report to the concerned authority in case any discrepancy is found. The admit card is also used during the counselling and seat allotment process of NLUs.

CLAT 2022 admit card is an important document that candidates must carry to the exam centre. CLAT 2022 is expected to attract more than 70,000 candidates on June 19, 2022. Without the admit card and ID proof, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card of CLAT 2022:

  • To access the admit card, go to the official website of CLAT 2022 and click on the link available to access the admit card.

  • A new page will open where you have to enter your login credentials, i.e. Registered ID or Application Number.

  • Next students need to provide their Date of Birth (DOB) and click on the tab of "Download Your Admit Card".

Medical self-declaration required for CLAT 2022

To take the exam, candidates must bring a medical self-declaration with them. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is relevant. Candidates must ensure they are physically and mentally capable of taking the test before registering. There is a medical form along with the CLAT admit card that you must fill out and sign.

CLAT 2022 Admit Card - Important Details to Check

The CLAT 2022 admit card will include the candidate's name, address, and other vital information. The candidate's personal information is used to identify the candidate at the examination centre, so it must be accurate and consistent with the information the candidate provided when registering.

The following details can be found on the admit card - 

  • Candidate's name, their category, date of birth, parent or guardian's name of the applicant, and communication address.
  • Passport size photograph of the candidate and signature.
  • Exam date of CLAT 2022, time of CLAT examination, Reporting time
  • Address of examination location.
  • Roll number/admit card number.
  • Degree programme's name which the candidate has chosen. It clarifies whether the admit card is for UG CLAT or PG CLAT.

Important Points to Remember Regarding CLAT 2022 Hall Admit Card

Here are some instructions that exam-takers must follow - 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid admit card & ID proof.
  • No hard copy of the CLAT 2022 Admit Card will be sent to the candidates.
  • The admit card of CLAT 2022 will be issued only in online mode only.
  • Candidates will have to carry a personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), a personal transparent water bottle, a mask, pen and gloves.
  • The phone of the candidate will be deposited outside.
  • Candidate details like name of the candidate, date of birth, roll number, exam date, time and testing location are mentioned in the CLAT 2022 admit card.
  • Candidates must carefully verify all the details mentioned in the CLAT 2022 admit card.
  • In case of any mistake or discrepancy in the CLAT admit card, candidates must bring it to the notice of CLAT officials and get the same rectified before the entrance exam.
  • Applicants who do not have a CLAT 2022 hall ticket will not be entitled to take the exam.
  • Applicants must present their admit card and photo ID evidence for verification at the CLAT test centre.
  • Candidates must follow all directions mentioned on the hall ticket / admit card.
  • Participants must arrive at the exam centre on time.
  • They should go to the exam centre the day before the exam to locate the exam location pre-hand.
  • This is important so that they don't have any difficulties locating the exam centre on the test day and end up wasting time.
  • In the event of an unpredictable situation resulting in the cancellation of a Test city or centre or an insufficient or excessive number of candidates opting to appear from a specific Test Centre, the Convenor, CLAT 2022, reserves the right to cancel such a City/Centre and transfer the applicant to another City/Centre.

CLAT 2022 Admit Card COVID-19 Guidelines

Here are some necessary COVID -19 guidelines that candidates should follow on the exam day - 

  • Aspirants must report to the examination centre according to the time slots specified on their hall ticket. 
  • Candidates must arrive at the test centre early enough to identify their seating location in the seating plan displayed and avoid crowding at a specific location at the test centre.
  • Other than the admit Card and ID card, no other papers will be permitted inside the examination hall.
  • On the exam day, students must download, fill out, and bring the self-declaration form. Without the self-declaration form, candidates will be denied entry.
  • Candidates must follow the directions given by test centre representatives during entry and exit from the exam location.
  • Candidates must maintain a social distance from when they enter the event until they leave.
  • Applicants must bring their hand sanitizer, mask, transparent water bottle, pen, and any necessary documentation (ID card and Admit card). 
  • Thermal Guns will be used by the centre staff to check each candidate's temperature.
  • If a candidate's temperature rises above 99.14° F, they will be directed to a quarantined room.
  • Such candidates will be barred from leaving the quarantined room until all other applicants have left the Test Centre.
  • Any candidate who has recently tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in isolation will be unable to take the CLAT-2022 exam on June 19, 2022.
  • Applicants must continue to wear the face mask/shield, etc., and take all necessary precautions on the Test Centre's premises, particularly in the Examination Hall.
  • They should disinfect their hands with sanitizer.
  • They should, however, use the sanitizer with caution and avoid spilling it on the OMR Response Sheet and Question Booklet.
  • If the spray spills, the OMR response sheet may become blurred with the chemical liquid and be invalidated by the OMR Response Sheet reader.

CLAT 2022 Admit Card Exam Centre Update Option

The Consortium provided the aspirants to update their test centre options till May 11, 2022. The Consortium will not entertain any further requests for the changes. During this window, candidates can evaluate their application form and alter their name, date of birth, and reservations. The applicants need to log in and use the 'Print Application' button to verify the application. To make changes to the application form, they need to click the 'Edit Application' option.

Here is the process - 

  • Aspirants need to sign in to their CLAT account.
  • To edit the application, select the 'Edit Application' link.
  • Navigate towards the 'Preferences' tab.
  • Update the three test centre preferences as needed.
  • To go to the 'Reservation' tab, click the Next button.
  • Scroll down, accept the declaration, and then press the Submit Form option.

Errors in CLAT 2022 Admit Card

After downloading it, applicants must double-check all of the information on their CLAT 2022 admit card. The following items should correspond to the CLAT 2022 application form information.

  • The admit card should have the Roll number mentioned on it.
  • The candidate's name should be spelled correctly.
  • The date of birth (DOB) mentioned on the admit card must match that on the CLAT 2022 application form and official documentation.
  • The birth date should be correct.
  • The applicant's photo and signature must be visible.
  • The test city mentioned on the admit card must be selected from options provided on the application form or the one the authorities have assigned to the candidate.
  • The candidates must clarify from the authorities to avoid confusion before the exam day about any test location changes issued to them.

Candidates have to bring any one of the following identity proofs along with the admit card on the day of the entrance exam:

  • Passport

  • Aadhaar card

  • PAN card

  • Voter ID card

  • Driving License

CLAT 2022 Exam Day: Important Things to Carry at Exam Hall

Candidates can carry the below items inside the CLAT 2022 exam hall - 

  • Blue or Black Ball Point Pen
  • Admit Card
  • Any clear Original Photo Identity Card issued by the Government.
  • Transparent Water Bottle
  • Face Mask, Sanitizer, face shield, and hand gloves

Things not allowed in the Exam Hall

  • No electronic devices, including cell phones, are permitted on the candidates' person (including calculators, digital watches, and headphones of all types).
  • Candidates cannot carry any electronic items inside the exam hall.
  • Exam invigilators or other CLAT 2022 authorities will not be held responsible for lost or stolen gadgets or personal property of candidates who bring them into the testing facility.

How to Correct Discrepancy in CLAT 2022 Admit Card?

After the CLAT 2022 admit card is issued, the candidates must make sure that all the information available in the CLAT 2022 admit card matches with that of the information provided to them during the CLAT 2022 registration process. CLAT officials never rule out the possibility of errors in the CLAT admit cards which is why the candidates can reach out to the CLAT officials if they find any discrepancies in the admit card of CLAT 2022. Here is how the candidates can intimate the CLAT officials regarding any errors in the admit card:

CLAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

The Consortium of NLUs published the CLAT exam day guidelines along with the admit card. Applicants must carefully read and follow all guidelines to gain easy access to the exam hall. Some important exam day guidelines for CLAT 2022 are provided below -

  • Aspirants must enter the premises of the respective Test Centres by 1:00 p.m. and be seated in the Examination Hall by 1:30 p.m. in the respective seats of the Examination Hall.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to leave the Examination Hall before 4 p.m. once they have entered it.
  • Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall after 2:15 p.m.
  • On the front page of the OMR Response Sheet, candidates must sign and fill in all the details such as Admit Card No., Question Paper Booklet No.
  • Before marking the answers, candidates must check all the pages and questions in their Question Booklet to ensure they are correctly printed.
  • If something is missing, incorrectly printed, or damaged, the Invigilator may be asked to provide another Sealed Plastic Envelope containing a new Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet.
  • All questions must be answered only on the OMR Response Sheet.
  • Candidates should take care when handling the OMR Response Sheet.
  • Under no circumstances should candidates fold, wrinkle, or tear the OMR Response Sheet.
  • At 4 p.m., the candidates must stop writing and return the OMR Response Sheet to the Invigilator.
