CTET Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2021

The CTET 2020 exam will be conducted in the pen and paper mode. The exam will be for a total duration of 150 minutes. There will be 5 sections in each paper consisting of 30 questions each. There will be no negative marking in CTET 2020 exam.

The candidates who want to become a teacher for class 1 to 5 will have to appear for CTET paper 1. The paper pattern for CTET paper 1 is given in the table below:

How to Prepare for CTET 2021

In order to prepare for CTET 2021, the students need to keep a few important points in mind. Although, hard work and study is the key to successful results, keeping into consideration some of the important points will help you strengthen your grip over the syllabus. Some important tips to study for CTET 2021 are given as below:

1. Understand CTET 2021 syllabus and Paper Pattern

The initial phase of CTET 2020 preparation is to understand the paper pattern and the syllabus to cover. This will help the student understand which topics must be covered and how to answer the questions in the exam.

2. Prepare a Study Timetable

It is also important for the students to prepare a study timetable and stick to it. First, calculate how much overall time do you get to study. Then based on the time, distribute your time for each topic. Remember to allot more time to the topics in which you are weaker and less time to the topics which you know already. Also, plan your study timetable in such a way that the last 2-3 weeks is dedicated to practising and solving mock tests.

3. Practice Previous Year’s Papers

Practice as many previous year’s papers as you can. It is important as most of the time, some of the questions get repeated every year. This will help you solve those questions in the exam easily and will also help you understand what type of questions are asked in the CTET exam.
