Starting a career in pharmacy begins with getting into the right institution, and for many students in Delhi, that means understanding how the D.Pharm admissions process works. For the 2025–26 academic year, the DTTE Delhi D.Pharm admission is one of the most significant gateways for anyone looking to study this course in the capital.
While the Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) oversees the process broadly, it’s Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) and Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) that are handling most of the actual admissions work on the ground.
As of early August 2025, the initial phase of admissions, applications and entrance exams is now complete. The spotlight has shifted entirely to counselling and seat allocation. Students who applied via DSEU’s Common Entrance Test (CET) or through DPSRU’s merit-based selection are now closely tracking the allotment results. If you're among them, this guide will walk you through what’s currently happening, what steps you should take next and what to expect when final admissions are confirmed.

Delhi D Pharm Admission Merit List 2025
The merit list plays a crucial role in the admission process, and both DSEU and DPSRU have already published their first round of lists for the 2025 session. It’s worth noting that there isn’t a combined list; each university follows its own method. DSEU prepares a rank list based on candidates’ scores in the Delhi CET 2025, while DPSRU relies on 10+2 marks in core subjects like Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics.
As of early August 2025, the counselling process is well underway, based on these initial merit lists. If your name is on one of them, you’ll need to take part in online counselling to confirm your seat. Both universities are expected to release more lists to fill seats that remain vacant after the first round. So, it’s a good idea to keep checking the official websites of DSEU and DPSRU regularly for the latest updates.

Delhi D Pharm Councelling Process 2025
The counselling process is the last and most important step to getting a seat after the merit lists are released. As of August 2025, this online process is still going on for both DSEU and DPSRU admissions. Here is a simple, step-by-step guide to how counselling works:
- You need to sign up for counselling on the admission portal of the university you want to attend (DSEU or DPSRU). You have to do this step and you might have to pay a small, non-refundable counselling fee.
- Next, you'll see a list of pharmacy schools that are open. You need to list the colleges you want to go to in order of preference from the one you want the most to the one you want the least. You need to "lock" your choices before the deadline or the system might do it for you.
- The computer will give you a college seat based on your CET rank or 10+2 merit, the category you belong to and the choices you made. The official website will post the result.
- You must pay a "seat acceptance fee" online if you are happy with the seat you were given. This shows that you want the seat. Your seat will be cancelled if you don't pay this fee.
- Lastly, you need to go to the college you were assigned to on the date you paid the fee with all of your original documents. The college will check your papers to make sure you are accepted. Your admission could be cancelled if you don't tell the college on time.

FAQs
After completing counselling registration and locking your choices, visit the official DSEU or DPSRU portal on the announced result date. If you’ve been allotted a seat, your college details will appear. You’ll then need to pay the seat acceptance fee and follow reporting instructions.
You’ll need originals and photocopies of your Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, CET admit card and rank card (if applicable), passport-sized photos, ID proof, category certificate (if needed), medical fitness certificate, and seat allotment letter. Missing any document can delay or cancel your admission process.
Missing the counselling round can lead to losing your seat. It’s essential to complete registration, lock in your choices, and respond to allotments on time. Some universities might have a spot round later for leftover seats, but it's not guaranteed, so always keep track of official announcements.
It depends on the university. If you're applying through DSEU, you must take the Delhi CET exam. However, if you're going through DPSRU, there’s no entrance exam required. DPSRU selects candidates based on their 10+2 subject scores in Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics.
DSEU conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the D.Pharm programme, while DPSRU follows a merit-based system that considers Class 12 marks in core science subjects. Although both universities fall under DTTE oversight, their admission criteria, timelines, and counselling processes are handled separately and independently.
