CUET 2024 History Syllabus has been released by NTA. It includes important topics like Harappan Archaeology, Political and Economic History, Social Histories using the Mahabharata, a History of Buddhism, Religious Histories, Medieval society through Travellers’ Accounts etc. CUET 2024 History Syllabus is a domain-specific exam in Section II of the CUET 2024. The CUET exam pattern 2024 includes one question paper with 50 questions, 40 of which must be answered, a maximum possible score of 200, and one point deducted for each incorrect response. 

Before beginning preparation for History courses, candidates must review the CUET History syllabus 2024. The CUET syllabus includes the chapters and topics from Class 12, which is the Board exam syllabus. The CUET UG 2024 will be conducted on May 15 to May 31, 2024. Also, the National Testing Agency closed the CUET application process on April 5, 2024, at 9:50 p.m. Please note that the CUET UG application form correction process, which began on April 6, 2024, is now closed. Candidates were able to make changes to their CUET UG application form on or before April 8, 2024 (till 11:50 PM). 

CUET 2024 Overview

CUET UG 2024 is an entrance exam designed to grant admission in UG level courses offered by various Central, Private and Deemed to be Universities. The exam will be held in 13 languages, namely Tamil, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, English, Odiya, Bengali, Malayalam, Punjabi, Telugu, Assamese and Urdu. It will be conducted on multiple days in two slots across a total of 547 exam cities/ towns located in India and 13 exam cities/ towns located outside India. The CUET 2024 History syllabus will consist of 3 sections. Section I will have two parts- Section IA and Section IB. Both of these sections are language tests. Section II will be a domain-specific test while Section III will be a general test. CUET History syllabus 2024 will be a domain-specific test in Section II. A total of 50 questions will be asked in this part out of which candidates have to attempt a total of 40 questions.
