Get familiar with the CUET 2024 History Syllabus

The first step before starting the CUET History preparation is to go through the official CUET History syllabus 2024 released by the conducting body. Candidates should check out all the topics and try to differentiate them according to their understanding. They should find out the concepts and units that require more efforts and invest time accordingly. Aspirants should not leave any topic untouched. It is important to cover all the units and topics mentioned in the official CUET 2024 History syllabus PDF.

Go through the CUET Exam Pattern

The CUET exam pattern has already been released by NTA in the Information Bulletin of the exam. Candidates should check out the marking scheme, type of questions, exam duration and nature of questions. This would provide them with a rough idea about how to approach questions in the entrance test.

Create a Timetable

Making a manageable schedule is essential before opening a book. To ensure they complete the syllabus on time, candidates should assign a specific amount of time to each topic and make an effort to stick to the schedule. Additionally, they ought to allot time for drafts and revisions of papers.

Maintain a Notebook

Since History has a lot of theories and concepts, it may become difficult to revisit all the topics again at the time of revision. Aspirants must keep a notebook aside, especially for revision purposes. While studying, they should keep writing down important points and theories in it so that they can quickly go through them while revising for the exam.

Revise, Revise & Revise

Revision is one of the key ways to ace the exam. Candidates should avoid reading anything new in the last few days. Instead, they should invest their time in recalling every important topic they have already studied. Aspirants should also revisit all the errors they made while solving the previous year’s question papers and sample papers so that they do not repeat the same mistakes on the exam day.
