The TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process is expected to begin in November 2024. There are some dos and don’ts that are to be followed for a successful completion of the counselling process. 

Dos and Don’ts for TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process

Annually the TS LAWCET exam is conducted in an online mode to offer admission to law colleges situated in Telangana. Osmania University, on behalf of TSCHE or Telangana State Council of Higher Education, conducts this state-level entrance exam. There are numerous private and public colleges situated in Telangana which accept TS LAWCET scores.

This year the exam will be conducted on June 03, 2024, across allocated exam venues. After the exam will be conducted, the results will be published on the official website of the exam conducting body. Students who will qualify for the exam will now get a chance to appear in the counselling process. 

The TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process will be held in two phases. Students who have qualified for the exam and have received the counselling letter, must register themselves for the counselling process and appear for the counselling rounds. 

Every student must go through a successful counselling process, as then only he or she can proceed with further admission formalities. Dos for TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process

To participate in the counselling rounds, the candidates must familiarise themselves with the necessary guidelines of the TS LAWCET counselling process. To ensure a seamless experience, please adhere to the following dos of the TS LAWCET counselling process - 

  • To begin with, candidates have to register for the counselling process.
  • Along with registration, they must submit scanned documents for verification.
  • After the admission cell publishes the list of registered applicants, the candidates can exercise their web choices.
  • Candidates must use desktops or laptops and carefully select their preferences for the TS LAWCET 2024 choice-filling process.
  • They must follow the deadlines and complete the steps required of them.
  • The applicants must make sure to pay the tuition fees by challan at the authorised bank. Applicants who are allotted seats provisionally during the counselling must access the official webpage of TS LAWCET counselling and retrieve the challan and joining report.
  • The students have to report to the allocated institute within the specified dates.
  • Candidates have to present the original certificates and paid fee receipts at the assigned colleges for completing the admission process.
  • Once the authorities verify the certificates, the allotted colleges will give the candidates an allotment order.

  • Those applicants who claim special categories such as NCC / CAP / PH / Sports / Games must take on the certificate verification of the same as per the dates and timings of the counselling process. 
  • Aspirants must submit their caste or income proof certificates where applicable in counselling.
  • Students who want admission under the special categories must appear before the admission cell for authentication.

Don’ts for TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process

  • Candidates must not forget to pay the counselling fee while online registration, or they will not be considered for the counselling rounds.
  • They should not stick to one or two preferences while using web options. Rather they should review multiple web choices during choice filling window to have the maximum chances of securing a seat.
  • They must not miss taking a printout of the final frozen web choices.
  • Candidates must not present inaccurate data or fake certificates during verification. If they are discovered involved in any such practise, their admission will be cancelled.
  • Candidates must abstain from waiting for the last date to register and complete the formalities for the counselling process ahead of the timeframe.

TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Dates

TS LAWCET 2024 counselling is held in two phases, Phase I and Phase II. The dates for the counselling process as given below in the table. Only students who did not get admission in the phase 1 of the counselling or who were not satisfied with the college allocated to them during phase 1 of the counselling must appear for phase 2 of the counselling process.

Here is the checklist of the documents and certificates essential for TS LAWCET counselling 2024  - 

  • Rank Card for TS LAWCET / TS PGLCET 2024.

Hello Sakshi,

To secure admission to the B.A LLB programme at Swami Vivekananda Law College, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks (SC/ ST category candidates - 40%). The programme is 5 years long and divided into 10 semesters. It has an intake of 120 students. The programme is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
