TS LAWCET 2024 Seat Allotment

TS LAWCET 2024 seat allotment process is conducted by the official exam conducting body; Osmania University, on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) to offer admission to law courses in government and private colleges and universities situated in the state of Telangana.

The seat allotment process is conducted in an online mode with centralized admission rounds, many times subsequent seat allotment rounds are conducted at the level of institute for on the spot admissions, if seats are still vacant.

The TS LAWCET 2024 seat allotment process will begin on August 27, 2024 and last till August 30, 2024 for the first round. The dates for the second round have not been released yet but are expected to take place in September 2024.

Due to the high competition and a limited number of seats, all the candidates are advised not to unnecessarily delay confirming seats and participating in subsequent rounds if they have been allocated a seat in the previous round. If individuals are getting seats in good colleges, they must take admission as soon as possible.

  • The first step for the TS LAWCET 2024 counselling is for the candidates to register, as without registration they will not be considered for the counselling and seat allotment.
  • Applicants must pay the processing fee for counselling and upload original certificates, else their registration will not be accepted.
  • Upon being assigned a seat, candidates have the right to accept the allocated seat or wait for the second round of seat allotment in the upcoming phase of counselling.
  • The counselling cell considers various elements before seat allocation such as the rank of the candidate in TS LAWCET, their college selections in the choice filling window, and reservation policies.
  • The provisional seat allotment result must be checked by the candidates and the shortlisted individuals must proceed for college reporting along with the fee challan and joining report.
  • As per the counselling calendar, the conducting body will launch the seat allotment result on the official website of TS LAWCET counselling. The applicants have to check their allotment status and obtain the provisional allotment letter.
  • Once the aspirants appear for reporting and the document verification is completed, they will receive the final seat allotment order from the allotted college.
  • Certificates to be produced during college reporting after allocation of seats include TS LAWCET 2024 Rank Card, SSC Marks Memo Original, Intermediate or its equivalent Marks Memo Original, Degree or its equivalent Marks Memo Original, Study Certificates Originals, Transfer certificate (TC), Caste Certificate, if applicable, Residence Certificate, if applicable.
  • If the candidate has accepted the allotted seat, then they must pay the admission fee to the particular institute for joining the offered programme.
  • They must keep the final seat allotment order with them carefully for any further reference in future.

TS LAWCET Seat Allotment via Spot Admissions Important Details

Some of the major guidelines related to TS LAWCET Seat Allotment through Spot Admission to be kept in mind by the candidates are as follows -

  • Applicants who want to register for spot admissions have to keep track of the notifications issued for the same by individual colleges on their websites or newspapers.
  • They have to complete the registration online and take the print out of the spot registration form.
  • Next, the aspirants must visit the relevant institute with a paper copy of the registration form and other original documents before the final date of submission to that college.
  • They have to get their original certificates validated from that college and acquire the acknowledgement copy of the same.
  • After they procure the acknowledgement copy, their name will be added for the spot admissions counselling.
  • Spot admissions will be done as per the regulations of the same, and will also give value to the rank/ merit of the students in the TS LAWCET entrance exam.
  • After the candidates are allotted seats, details will be dispatched via SMS to the registered mobile number of the candidates.
  • Those who secured seat allotment via spot admissions have to make the payment of the tuition fee and attend the institute reporting procedure as per the specified dates. If the candidates do not visit the assigned college for the admission formalities as per the stipulated dates, then their admission will be revoked and the seat will be transferred to the next applicant on the waiting list.
  • Students who secured admission via regular counselling and yet want to try out spot admissions will be given a seat if eligible, only after they let go of the earlier seat.

  • The candidates must not miss the cutoff date for counselling registration, as that is one of the most critical facets to be considered for seat allotment.
  • Applicants must exercise web options carefully, and not neglect the web selection process. They must complete the process within the deadline.
  • Candidates must ensure they do not provide any fake certificates or wrong information at the allotted college. They must not forget to take the original papers, joining report, and fee challan at the respective colleges.
  • Applicants must not pay the counselling fees and admission fees via any other medium, other than what is suggested by the authorities.
