Gujarat University B.Ed Eligibility 2020

There are some of the predefined eligibility rules which must be fulfilled by the aspirants to apply for admission. The eligibility criteria which must be met for the candidates for Gujarat University B. Ed Admission 2020 is given in the points below:

  • The candidate must have passed a degree in graduation (10+2+3) or postgraduate in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce from a recognised institute.

  • The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying examination.

  • There is no age limit to apply for Gujarat University B. Ed admission.

  • The candidate who has studied Philosophy and Sociology in the qualifying examination will be granted admission to Social Science subjects in 6:1 ratio.

  • The main subject for admission to Gujarat University will be allotted at the time of admission. The first subject will be allotted by the University and the second subject will be issued by the respective colleges. Method to Calculate Merit for Gujarat B. Ed Admission 2020

For admission to B.Ed program at Gujarat University, the merit of the candidate is calculated on the basis of the following method:

Merit of the Student: % of marks obtained at UG level + 20% of % of marks obtained at PG level

Note: 20% of marks benefit at PG level will be granted to the candidate if the subjects at both PG and UG level are the same. Meanwhile, the candidate must have completed both the parts of PG to attain 20% marks contribution. The merit will be calculated on the basis of overall semester aggregate for the candidates who have completed their qualifying degree with the semester system.

The following tie-breaking method is used to calculate the merit of two students with the same marks in the qualifying exam:

  • Percentage of total marks of second-year per semester = 3-4
  • If the Percentage of total marks of the second year for both is same then Percentage of total marks of the first year is compared.
  • If both the candidates have the same merit, then Class 12th percentage will be compared for both.

Gujarat University prescribes some reservation policy for the candidates depending on their categories. It is important for the candidates to have a complete idea of Gujarat University B. Dear Student,

Yes, you need to qualify MAH B.Ed CET to get admission to B.Ed courses at Rajgad Dnyanpeeth's Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya. The admission is done through the counselling process. 

The minimum eligibility for admission to B.Ed Mathematics at Rajgad Dnyanpeeth's Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya is to pass a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised institute. Since you have completed your B.Tech, you can apply for admission. However, you must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam.
