Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Admissions 2025: The admission process to the B.Pharm course in the state of Himachal Pradesh is based on the HPCET 2025 results. All candidates who successfully qualify the HPCET exam are eligible for the counselling process. The counselling process is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur, in the offline mode. To be eligible for the B.Pharm course, admission candidates have to qualify Class 10+2 with Physics + Chemistry as compulsory subjects, and Biology, Mathematics, or Biotechnology as the third subject. Moreover, the minimum percentage of marks required is 45% for general-category candidates (40% for reserved categories) in the three subjects combined.

Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for the B.Pharm course in Himachal Pradesh vary as per the specialization/ lateral entry. The eligibility

B.Pharm (4 years)

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 examinations with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/ Biology subjects securing at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

• Candidates should be at least 17 years of age on or before 31st December at the time of admission

For B.Pharm in Ayurveda

• The candidates must have taken 10+2 exams from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in the case of a reserved candidate) in the above subjects.

B.Pharm- Lateral Entry (3-Years)

• The candidate must have secured a diploma in pharmacy (D.Pharm) from any recognized institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India in order to secure admission in B.Pharm in lateral entry

Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Application Process 2025

The step-by-step process to fill out the HP B.Pharm application form can be checked below. In order to apply for B.Pharm admissions in HP, candidates will be required to fill out the HPCET application form, there is no separate form as such:

Step 1:- Registration:-

Candidates first have to visit the official website (himtu.ac.in ) and click on the registration link. The Account Registration Form will appear. Enter all the essential information such as Name, User Name, Password, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. After filling out the registration form click on the “Create Account” button. A unique number will be sent to the candidate’s email ID for the verification process. For future reference, the candidates must write down the application form number, username, and password.

Step 2:- Login:-

Candidates need to log in again by entering their username, password, and Application Form Number. After entering an Online Application Form will appear. The form will be divided into five tabs:- Basic Detail, Upload Photo, and Signature, Confirmation, Fee Payment & Payment Detail.

Step 3:- Basic Details:-

Candidates need to provide their basic information such as Name, Father's Name, Nationality, Sex, Mode of Admission (Normal/ Lateral entry), Category (GEN/ SC/ ST/ OBC), Branch and Date of Birth, Corresponding Address, and Permanent Address.

In Basis Tab Candidates also need to choose the program from the dropdown list.

Step 4:- Upload Photograph/Signatures

Upload your latest scanned photograph and signature in .JPEG/.JPG format. The image/ signature image size should be less than 30 KB.

Step 5:- Confirmation

After completing the application form candidates need to click on the confirm button to submit the application form or click on the “Edit” button, by clicking candidates can review their application and make changes if necessary.

Step 6:- Payment

The application processing fee must be paid online by using net banking/credit card/debit card.

Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Admit Card 2025

From the first week of May, registered applicants can timely access the HPCET 2025 admit card. The admit card will only be available in online mode and candidates can download their admit card by using their correct credentials. The admit card shall contain information about the date of examination, timing, and venue. The candidates must provide their admit card and proof of identity at the time of examination, otherwise, they are not allowed to enter the centre.

Steps to Access and Accept HPCET 2025 Admit Card:-

• Visit the HPCET 2025 official website

• Click the admit card option link

• After that, the candidates will have to provide their application number and choose the B.pharm program. Then click on submit button

• Then the admit card will show up on the panel. Candidates are advised to check for any errors on the admit card.

As per the notifications published by Himachal Pradesh Technical University, the Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Answer Key 2025 will be released shortly after HPCET is conducted. Candidates who appear for the entrance exam can refer to this answer key to evaluate their respective performances. To download the Himachal Pradesh B.Pharmacy answer key 2025, candidates can visit the official website of the exam, enter their login details and download the HPCET answer key to their PC or phone.

Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Result 2025

The candidates need to sign in with the appropriate credentials to check their HP B.Pharm result. The results of HPCET 2025 will include information like section-wise marks. On the basis of the declared result, the merit list shall be prepared.

After the declaration of the result, the authorities will release the HP CET 2025 merit list. Those candidates who make it to the merit list will be eligible to participate in the HP CET counselling process.

How is the HP Merit List Prepared?

The ranking of HP B.Pharm is based on HPCET entrance exam marks. In case of a tie, the tie-breaking rules are:

• Higher Physics marks preferred
• Then higher Chemistry marks
• Then higher Class 12 aggregate marks
• Finally, an older candidate is given preference

Himachal Pradesh B.Pharm Counselling Process 2025

Candidates who have made it to the merit list will be eligible for counseling. The candidates will also have to select their preferred college for admissions. During the counselling, the verification of documents will also be carried out by the authorities. The candidate must be present in person at the time of counselling and must report to the Admission Selection Committee immediately upon his or her nomination. The candidate present during the counselling will be given the opportunity to select from the seats available at his / her turn. If the candidate fails or refuses to accept the seat offered at the time of counselling then his or her seats will be cancelled. The seats will be given to the next candidate on the merit list. After all, formalities have been completed, the selection letter shall be sent to the selected candidates. The candidates must report for admission in the designated institution on or before the date stated in the selection letter, in the absence the admission of the candidates will be cancelled.

The candidates must submit the following documents with one set of photocopies at the time of counselling:-

• Candidates must submit all the certificates of all qualifying examinations along with their mark sheet issued by the Board/University.

• Date of birth certificate/ Matriculation or High school certificate showing the date of birth.

• Character certificate from the last studied institute

• Domicile certificate/ Bonafide certificate issued from the sub-divisional magistrate ( If available)

• HP CET Admit Card

• HP CET Entrance Score Card

• Reserved caste certificate from the competent authority

• Physically Challenged Certificate issued by Competent Authority (If applicable)

• Income Certificate if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme

• An undertaking approved under the Beti Hai Anmol scheme by the Executive Magistrate.

• Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificates are given under the Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrants quota by a qualified authority.

• If an intermediate time/gap is involved, the Gazetted Officer / Notary Public affidavit certificate needs to be submitted showing the candidate's preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended
