Real-Time Obstacles While Submitting JEE Main 2026 Application Form and How to Overcome Them

Here we have discussed a few real-time problems that may appear unexpectedly during JEE Main 2026 application form submission, and how applicants can overcome these issues.

Problem 1: Incomplete Application Form Due to Server Glitch

Due to heavy traffic on NTA's website, sometimes students may face temporary server crashes or slow website response. This usually happens during the inital days of registration (as soon as the portal opens) or days approaching the deadline. Common issues may include freezing of the screen, failure to load the registration page, automatic logging out etc., leading to an unsuccessful attempt to submit the JEE Main application form 2026 .

Solution: We suggest accessing the NTA registration portal during early hours or late at night, when the traffic is relatively low on the website. Also, instead of waiting around till the last couple of days, try and finish application submission well in advance to avoid last-minute glitches. Make sure you have a stable and good internet connection. However, if the server error persists, try a different browser or clear cache.

Problem 2: Failed Payment

A common problem is failure of payment due to technical failures – poor internet stability, paymeny gateway timeout, or server delays from the bank. Sometimes, it may happen so that the money has been deducted from the bank account but the trasnaction message says 'pending' or 'failed'. This often leaves the applicants anxious and in a fix.

Solution: We advise you to always opt for netbanking or payment through debit card/ credit card issued by recognized banks, as these are often the most reliable payment methods. Wait for up to 48 hours for any deducted amount to reflect on the system. Usually, the portal retrieves transactions that may have failed within 24-48 hours. In case you need to contact NTA's helpline number regarding failed payment, keep the transaction ID handy as proof.

Problem 3: Mismatching of Details

Sometimes in a rush to fill out and submit the JEE application form, students might make errors typing their name, date of birth, address, or qualifications. Even a small mismatch can create problems while submitting the form, or during the later stages (issuance of the JEE Main admit card 2026 , or counselling rounds).

Solution: Make sure the spelling of your name, address, DOB etc. matches the deatils mentioned in the government-issued ID card. Ensure that the qualifying marks or CGPA entered aligns with your Class 10th and 12th marksheets. Always crosscheck every minor detail before saving and moving on to the next page.

Problem 4: Incorrect Uploading of Documents

Another hindrance that students typically face is incomplete application submission due to error in document uploading. NTA clearly mentions the size, format, dimensions for each set of documents i.e. candidate's signature, photograph, and certificates, that applicants need to upload along with the JEE Main application form 2026. Failing to follow these strict guidelines can lead to the rejection of one's application form.

Solution: Carefully go through the prescribed specifications and ensure that the documents are uploaded in the correct file format and size with clear background. Don't improvise your signature; make sure it matches other documents. There are various tools available that you can use to crop, resize or compress your images to meet NTA's guidelines. While taking the photograph, make sure you are seated against a white background; ensure there's no light or reflection, or blurry lines on your face.

Lakhs of students apply for the JEE Main exam every year. Thousands of them come across these obstacles while registering or filling out the application form. It is important to identify these issues and address them smartly to carry out a successful registration process. Avoid these technical, follow the solution tips provided above to get your JEE Main 2026 application form submitted on time wihtout stress!

Dear Student,

LPUNEST B.Tech exam difficulty is generally moderate, striking a balance between easy and challenging questions. Over recent years, the exam has shifted from mostly memory-based questions to more concept- and application-oriented ones, aiming to assess candidates' understanding and problem-solving abilities. The exam typically includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and fill-in-the-blank (FIB) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English, all based on the Class 12 syllabus. There is no negative marking, and the exam duration is usually 150 minutes. To prepare well, students should focus on core concepts, practice previous papers, and improve speed and accuracy.
