Only those students who successfully complete all stages of the IBPS recruitment process are offered this provisional allotment. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility requirements may have their candidature withdrawn.
IBPS selects applicants for Provisional Allocation and assigns those who have passed the final cutoff and both the written exam and the interview to any one of the participating banks.

Banks are assigned based on a candidate's merit and the bank's preference order. All applicants will receive a selection + confirmation email from IBPS regarding the bank that they have been assigned at their registered email addresses. This mail typically includes information on the medical tests that the person must complete, documents and other certificates that must be carried at the time of documentation, as well as other helpful and confidential details. IBPS's involvement ends at this step, and the assigned bank then completes the remaining steps.

IBPS PO Joining Formalities: Duration, Training Process

Several IBPS-participating banks hold training sessions before new employees join the branch. Depending on the requirements of the particular banks, training may take a long 15 to 20 days.

Often, training takes place at the bank's offices, training centres, or other zonal offices. The candidates are given lodging accommodations and meals throughout the training session. Furthermore, applicants receive training on how banks operate and function. Typically, training lasts for 5 to 6 hours every day, during regular business hours.

Candidates are then posted in their branches as assigned to a routine job when the training period is over. Candidates selected as PO receive a IBPS PO Salary during these training days with no deductions.

Document verification for IBPS PO is nothing but the process of checking the authenticity of your documents and proving document ownership. Many a time, candidates get rejected during this phase of the selection process. Hence, be careful and make sure to get these documents ready and carry them on the scheduled date of verification.
