Jharkhand ITI Admission 2025: The admission process to ITIs in the state of Jharkhand is based on the marks secured in class 8 and 10. The admission is followed by an online merit list and counselling process where seats are allotted to students as per their rank, category, and preferences of ITIs and trades. Currently, the spot round admission process is underway. The spot round counselling is conducted from August 29 to 30, 2025, for various seats that are left in ITIs on the first-come-first-serve basis.
Engineering and non-engineering trades are the two categories under which ITI courses are offered in Jharkhand. Depending on the trade selected, the course length typically varies from six months to two years. To ensure equitable access for students from diverse backgrounds, the admissions process closely adheres to the reservation policy and guidelines established by the Jharkhand government. Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand ITI Admission 2025
The detailed eligibility criteria to apply for ITI admission Jharkhand are as follows:
- Students must have compulsorily studied the Mathematics and Science group subjects at the last qualifying exam level.
- Students must be either Class 8th or 10th qualified from any recognised board.
- Pupils must not be younger than 14 years and older than 40 years as of July 1, 2025.
- Students must possess a domicile certificate of Jharkhand state.
- The students must be Indian citizens.
- Widows of military personnel killed in a military operation are given five five-year relaxation in the maximum age limit.
