Goa ITI Admission 2023 - The notification for Goa ITI admission for the academic year 2023-24 will be published on the official website of the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The application form will be available on the official website, dsde.goa.gov.in. After the successful completion of the the application form process, the conducting body will be releasing the Provisional Merit List SSC for ITI online admission 2023. Based on that, Goa ITI Admission 2023 will take place.
Goa has set up Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in the state under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) and Center of Excellence Scheme (CoE) with an objective to produce skilled professionals who would meet the demanding needs of public and private sectors. The courses offered at ITI is a means to increase employment opportunities and help youth acquire relevant knowledge and skills needed in the industry. Presently, Goa has ten government and five private ITIs. These institutes offer various engineering and non-engineering trades.
Goa ITI institutes are affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi through the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, New Delhi. Goa ITI Eligibility Criteria 2023
The eligibility criteria for ITI admission are defined for respective trade. The general eligibility criteria for admission are given below:
The candidate must have passed Class 10th or equivalent
He/ She must have studied Science and Maths subjects in the qualifying examination.
For admission in welder trade course, garment and sales assistant, the candidate who have passed Class VIII are also considered for admission.
The minimum age of the candidate should be 14 years.
The candidate must be a resident of Goa for a period of at least 10 years.
Those who have passed Class 10th from the National Open School without studying Maths and Science are not eligible for admission.

Goa ITI Application Form 2023
The application form for Goa ITI Admission is accepted online mode. The procedure to fill in the application and submit the application is explained in the following steps: -
Step 1 - Online Form Filling

Step 2 - Upload Documents
Along with the application form, the candidate must attach certain documents which are listed below:
Passport Size Photograph
Self-attested copy of mark sheet and passing certificate of the qualifying examination.
Leaving Certificate from the School/ Institute/ College which was last attended by the candidate.
Those who are unable to produce leaving certificates can produce a transfer certificate / bonafide certificate issued by the School/ Institute/ College.
Birth Certificate from the authorised Registrar.
A certificate to prove the continuous period of residence of goa for the last 10 years from the Mamlatdar having jurisdiction over the area of residence.
Certificate issued by the Head of the Office or Department for children of employees of the Central/State Government or Government of India Undertakings (if applicable)
A certificate from the Competent Authority, for children of Ex-Servicemen/Defence Personnel (if applicable).
A certificate from the Home Department of Government of Goa, for children of Freedom Fighters (if applicable).
SC/ ST/ OBC certificate, if applicable.
Income certificate of candidates having annual family income less than Rs 3,00,000/- p.a
A certificate from the Dean, Goa Medical College for PH candidates.
Step 3 - Submit Application
The application form along with the documents must be submitted personally at the counter of the defined ITI centre. The application can also be sent through the registered post addressed to the Principal of the concerned ITI.
The candidate who submits the application must ensure to collect the acknowledgement card along with the application number from the concerned I.T.I centre. The acknowledgement card and the application number must be preserved for further admission process.
Incomplete applications, applications that are submitted after the deadline or applications without the self-attested copies of the necessary certificates may be rejected. Thus, the candidate must make sure to fill in the application with the utmost attention.

Centralised Admission Procedure: A centralised admission procedure is followed for admission in ITI courses in various government and private institutes in Goa.
Merit list: A merit list is prepared among the candidates who submit application forms for ITI admission. Marks obtained in Class X or Class VIII (for those who apply for admission on the basis of Class VIII) is considered to prepare the merit list.
The merit list is prepared by the Central Admission Committee appointed by the Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
Initially, a provisional merit list is prepared for Government and Private institutes. The candidate gets three days time to comply with any objection. They can submit an application form at the respective institute to submit the report.
After the objections are taken into consideration, the final merit list of candidates is prepared. The final merit list of Government and Private ITI institutes is prepared and published on the official website of the Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship i.e. www.sdct.goa.gov.in
Seat Allotment: Candidates whose names are on the merit list will have to visit a centrally located venue decided by the State Director for seat allotment in one of the ITI institutes based on merit.

ITI Fee for Government Institutes in Goa
Candidates who are enrolled in the ITI courses must deposit tuition fees at respective institutes for the total course. The fee is non-refundable. The tuition fee structure for ITI government institute in Goa is given in the following table:

The tuition fees vary for candidates belonging to SC /ST /BPL categories and for candidates whose family income is less than 3 Lacs.
Goa ITI Reservation Policy 2023
A certain number of seats are reserved for candidates who belong under the reserved category. The reservation policy is defined for both government and private ITI institutes, as applicable by the State of Goa.
