If you are applying for the loan, you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

The applicant must be a student and an Indian national and must have completed Class 10 to apply for a diploma, or Class 10 and 12 to apply for higher education, like an undergraduate.
The student must be studying in a recognised school in Jharkhand.
The student must have secured admission in top institutes like IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, NITs, BITS, etc., be ranked in the top 200 overall or top 100 in the NIRF category, or have an NAAC grade of A or above.
The student must not be older than 40 years, must not have taken a similar loan before, and must not have a current education loan from any bank or co-operative bank for the same course.
