GAT B 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for GAT-B 2026 exam, you have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for GAT-B 2026.
You must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set by GAT B participating colleges or universities.
Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC or differently-abled categories must have a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
For M.V.Sc. Animal Biotechnology, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in B.V.Sc. and AH, with at least 60% marks from an accredited college or university.
For M.Tech in Biotechnology, applicants should possess a B.Tech or B.E degree in Biotechnology or related fields as per GAT-B 2026 eligiblity criteria.
For M.Sc. in Allied Areas/Agricultural Biotechnology, a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field is mandatory to apply.
