NCHMCT offers hospitality education through its affiliated institutes -- the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs). Currently, there are a total of 46 IHMs operational in India, which include:

Eligibility Criteria for the Institute of Hotel Management
Candidates seeking admission to IHMs must meet a set of eligibility criteria established by the central, state, and private institutes.
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen
- A candidate must have completed class 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board or equivalent
- A candidate must have passed NCHM JEE 2022 with a high enough score to be considered for admission to the college

The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, runs and regulates BSc academics. IHMs offer Hospitality & Hotel Administration as well as ten other courses of study. IHM Admissions in India 2022
The NCHM JEE, which offers admission to these UG and PG degrees in IHMs, has a different syllabus for taking the exams at both levels. Admission to the Diploma and Craftsmanship programmes provided at IHMs is solely based on an applicant's performance in the Class 12th grade, in which English was one of the subjects they took. Every year, in the month of May, the application form for IHM admissions in Diploma and Craftsmanship courses is made available on the website of the relevant institution, and the course session begins in the months of July and August. Candidates are admitted to the PG diploma programmes provided by IHMs based on their graduation standing. For the BSc HHA and MSc in Hospitality Administration programmes, the NCHM JEE exam is administered as a computer-based test.
The entrance exam for admission to the hospitality courses in various IHMs at the undergraduate level is the NCHMCT Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE). It is a national-level hotel management entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. Through this exam, aspirants can take admission to the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration courses offered by NCHMCT JEE Participating Colleges and various other hotel management colleges accepting NCHMCT JEE score for admission.
The entrance exam for admission to masters-level hospitality courses is done through the NCHMCT MSC JEE. Through the NCHMCT MSC JEE exam, admissions are provided to the MSc in Hospitality Administration course.
