LPU B.Tech Admission Entrance Exam 2021 (LPUNEST)

LPU conducts its own entrance exam, LPUNEST to shortlist the aspirants for admission to B.Tech programs. All the candidates who wish to take admission to B.Tech at LPU must qualify LPUNEST 2021. Apart from LPUNEST, LPU also accepts admission to B.Tech on the basis of other entrance exam score such as JEE Main.

LPU B.Tech Application Form 2021

The candidates who wish to take admission to B.Tech at LPU can fill the application form in either online or offline mode. The steps which the candidates will have to follow to fill online and offline application for B.Tech admission are given below:

Online Application

1. Visit the official website and on the homepage, click on the “Apply Now” link in the top right corner.

2. Register on the website using all the required documents. The registration ID and password will be sent to the registered mail or contact number.

3. Fill the application form using all the required details such as personal information, educational details, etc.

4. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.

5. Pay the application fee to complete the application process.

Offline Application

The candidates will have to visit the LPU campus to buy the application form by paying the application fee. The offline application can be submitted in two modes in the offline mode. The first option is to send the form with the required documents to the admission office address.

If the students do not want to send the offline application, they can visit the official website, fill the application form and click on Yes when asked if you have already purchased the application form. The candidates will have to further enter and submit the unique OMR code to complete the application process.

LPU B.Tech Selection Process 2021

The selection process for B.Tech admission in LPU is purely merit-based. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in LPUNEST entrance exam. Based on the rank and merit order, the seats will be allocated accordingly. Candidates with 90 percentile in JEE Main or CBSE/ ICSE/ any other state-level board exams will be offered direct admission in B.Tech. Based on the past academic performance of candidates such as entrance exam and board exam marks, LPU will offer merit scholarships to students. These scholarships are offered in the form of fee waiver.
