LPU scholarships are offered for all the programmes of the university, ranging from Diplomas to PhD. Students were awarded with scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in the last year itself.
All the AICTE-approved colleges were eligible for GPAT-based scholarships as well as the AICTE-M.Arch scholarships. The same has been discontinued from 2023. However, LPU is still continuing with its GPAT-based scholarships and interested candidates can apply for the same.
Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:
The scholarship percentage varies programme-wise at LPU University as per the following table. For each category mentioned above, 1-3 brackets of Scholarship (Bracket 1, 2, and 3) are defined. Each bracket represents specific criteria which an applicant must fulfil, for him/her to fall in that particular bracket. Criteria in bracket 1 is most strict and the conditions are relaxed in subsequent brackets and LPU scholarship is also reduced in each next bracket. So, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket1 (top bracket) gets the highest LPU scholarship and those in Bracket 2 or Bracket 3 gets relatively lesser scholarship.

LPU defines different phases of admissions depending on the time an applicant registers himself/herself with the University. The Scholarship as mentioned in above table is for the first phase of admission. Subsequent phase of admission may be defined as per the availability of seats, where the scholarship will be reduced.

Scholarship Phases:
Admissions in LPU are done in different Phases, which are bifurcations of the Admission time period. The amount of Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes admission in the University. (Phase – I) starts as early as January 2024 and continues till the end of April 2024. The subsequent phases (Phase-II, III, IV,V) are conducted only if the seats in the concerned Programme remain vacant. The amount of Scholarship reduces with each passing phase and no scholarship is offered in Phase - V (if conducted).

LPU considers these national and university level competitive entrance exams for providing scholarships: JEE Main (Paper 1 and 2 both), LPUNEST, CEED, NATA, NEET, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, UCEED, CEED, LSAT, CLAT, GATE, GPAT.
Scholarships at LPU are provided to the students who have enrolled in any of the following courses: B.Tech, B.Arch, MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, Ph.D, Design Courses, Law Courses, Medical Courses.
Students who have more than 90% marks in class 12th/ over 90 percentile in JEE Main/ more than or equal to Category 1 cut off of LPUNEST are given a fee waiver of 50%. Those who score between 80% and 89.9% in class 12th/ have 85 - 90 percentile in JEE Main/ have an LPUNEST score of more than or equal to Category 2 cut off can avail a fee waiver of 40%. A discount of 30% in total fee is given to candidates who have 70% - 79.9% marks in class 12th/ JEE Main score between 80 and 84.99 percentile/ LPUNEST score of more than or equal to Category 3 cut off.
LPU gives 50% fee waiver to students who score above 90% marks, 40% fee waiver to those who have aggregate marks between 80% and 89.9%, and 30% fee waiver to candidates whose marks fall in the range of 70% and 79.9%.
Yes, LPU has several scholarship schemes that are aimed at supporting the students financially. These scholarships are given on the basis of merit and need.
