MH CET Law Exam Day Guidelines

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) 2022 will be held on August 3rd and 4th, 2022 for the 3-year LL.B programme and on August 2, 2022 for the 5-year LL.B. The exam will take place for admission to the undergraduate law programmes offered at the law colleges of Maharashtra. All candidates who are appearing for the law entrance exam must be well aware of the exam day guidelines for MH CET Law 2022. It is essential to know the instructions beforehand so that the exam goes smoothly.

Before reaching the examination centre, students must carefully read the important instructions mentioned in the MH CET Law 2022 admit card. Go through the following tips to know the detailed exam day guidelines to be followed on the MH CET Law 2022 exam day.

1. Download Your Admit Card

Keep your MH CET Law 2022 admit card ready before the exam day. Download it beforehand and check if it has all the correct information. In case you find any discrepancy in the hall ticket, raise it to the concerned authority and get it fixed as soon as possible.

2. Keep Your Documents Ready

Make sure you have all the documents needed on the exam day ready well in advance. You will be required to carry an identity proof along with the admit card to the exam centre. This can include your Passport, Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, etc.

3. Get Familiar with the Exam Centre Location

It is important to know the exact location of the MH CET Law 2022 exam centre allocated to you. If it is a location that you are unfamiliar with, make sure you get an idea of the time taken to reach the centre. It is essential to know the other details related to the exam centre as well, such as the traffic on the way to the centre, whether or not it has a parking spot, etc.

4. Be on Time

It is of extreme importance that candidates reach the exam centre on time. The reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card and they must follow it strictly. Reaching the venue on time will prevent them from any hassle or anxiety and they will be able to take the exam with a calm mind.

5. Do Not Carry Electronic Gadgets

It is strictly prohibited to carry any electronic item such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, etc. to the exam centre. If a student is found with any such item, he/ she will not be allowed to complete the exam.

6. Take All Precautions Against COVID-19

All candidates must abide by the protocols to be safe from the coronavirus. They must follow social distancing and wear a proper mask at all times. The exam centre will be equipped with hand sanitisers throughout the premises but it is advantageous if the candidates also carry their own hand sanitiser bottles.

7. Abide by All Exam Centre Rules

Students are expected to follow all the rules of the MH CET Law exam centre so as to ensure a smooth examination process. Their temperature will be taken using thermo guns at the entry gate and they will have to wear a mask throughout the exam.

8. Carry Pens

The candidates must carry at least two blue or black ballpoint pens to mark their answers on the OMR sheet provided by the invigilators. 

Things to Carry to MH CET Law 2022 Exam Centre

The students have to carry certain things with them to the MH CET Law 2022 exam centre. The students can check out the list given below.

  • MH CET Law 2022 Hall Ticket with attached photo
  • Original photo ID proof
  • Original proof for change in the candidate’s name or surname
  • One or two ballpoint pens

ID Proofs to Carry for MH CET Law 2022

The students need to carry a valid photo identity proof along with the MH CET Law 2022 admit card. The list of the documents is mentioned below and students can bring any one of the original documents.

  • Voters Card
  • Aadhar card
  • PAN card
  • Passport
  • Permanent Driving License
  • Bank passbook with affixed photograph
  • Photo- Identity proof issued by the Gazetted officer
