M.Sc Admission Process GAT-B 2024

The candidate must know the admission process for M.Sc GAT-B 2024. The admission process is mentioned below.

Admission to the M.Sc. programme in Biotechnology and its allied areas takes place through the GAT-B entrance examination.
The candidates have to fill the application form and apply for the GAT-B exam.
If the candidate qualifies for the GAT-B examination, the candidates are offered admission to different participating colleges on the basis of the marks scored in the GAT- B 2024 entrance examination.
The M.Sc. programme is offered in many participating colleges and the courses that are offered for doing M.Sc. are M. Sc. Biotechnology, M. Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology, M. Sc. in Allied Areas.

M.Sc. Admission through GAT-B 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to take admission to M.Sc. courses through GAT-B must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Those candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria of participating colleges for GAT B cannot take admission even if they qualify for the entrance examination. The candidate must meet the minimum age criteria and academic qualifications to apply for M.Sc. Admissions through GAT-B 2024.

The candidates must have completed their graduation in a 10+2+3 pattern from a recognised board.
The candidates must have scored a minimum of 60 %(for General/EWS/OBC Category) and 55% (for SC/ST/PwD category) in the respective field from a recognised university.
The candidate should not be less than 20 years of age before applying for the GAT-B exam.
