Odisha ITI Admission 2024

Odisha ITI Admission 2024: Odisha ITI application form 2024 will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education and Training Department. Currently, there are 60 Government ITIs and 415 Private ITIs under the SAMs platform for e-admission. The CAF has been introduced so that an applicant can apply in one application form to any trade at any government or private ITI in the state. An applicant must fill it out ONLINE by going to https://dtetodisha.gov.in or https://samsodisha.gov.in. Odisha ITI admission 2024 is a state-level admission process that takes place once a year. Candidates will be selected for admission based on their performance in the qualifying examination. Candidates who wish to enroll in Technical and Non-Technical ITI courses at Private and Government Industrial Training Institutes will be admitted.

The Department of Technical Education (DTE) Odisha and SAMS (Student Academic Management System) jointly conduct the admission process for various ITI courses in Odisha. Odisha ITI 2024 Eligibility Criteria

In order to fill CAP for Odisha ITI admission 2024, the candidates will have to satisfy the Odisha ITI eligibility rules specified by DTE Odisha. The eligibility rules include Age Limit, Domicile Rules, and Academic Qualification. All the details are explained below for Odisha ITI admission 2024:

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for the applicants should be 14 years as on August 01, 2024. There is no upper age limit for admission.

Eligibility

The minimum eligibility required to take admission is Class 8th or 10th (depending on Trades/ Unites chosen by candidates). The candidates must have a minimum of 35% of marks in Class 10th to be eligible for the admission process.

Domicile Rules

Only the candidates who have passed Class 8th or 10th from BSE Odisha are eligible for admission. Students from other states can get direct admission in private ITIs.

Step 1 – Applicant Registration

  • Name (as per Class 10th or HSC Records)
  • Mobile Number
  • E-Mail ID (Optional)
  • Firstly, the candidates will have to click on the direct link above to open the online application form.
  • After filling in these details, click on ‘Generate OTP’
  • OTP will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number via SMS.
  • Enter the OTP and validate the same.
  • Now, set a password to your account.
  • The Username will be your mobile number.

Step 2 – Applicant Login

  • Username (your mobile number)
  • Password
  • Captcha
  • The candidates will have to log in now by filling in these details.
  • Click on ‘Login’ after filling in these details.

Step 3 – Form Filling

  • Applicant Details
  • Personal Details
  • Residence Address
  • Bank Details (to avail student welfare)
  • Reservation Details
  • Income Details
  • Class 10th Roll Number and Marks
  • The third step is form filling, and the candidates will have to fill all these details systematically.
  • The candidates must note that his/ her Class 10th marks or grades will be automatically populated after entering the roll number.

Step 4 – Upload Images

  • Upload Photograph
  • The candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of the passport size photograph in JPG format and the image size should be less than 100 KB.

Step 5 – Choice Filling

  • Fill College Preferences
  • The candidates can choose the total number of 5 colleges. In order t add more than one college, the candidates will have to click on ‘Add More’.
  • The candidates must choose the Trade/ Course preference while selecting the ITI.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ after filling in the choices.
  • You can also modify the choices by clicking on ‘Back to Modify’.

Step 6 – Application Fee Payment (Rs. 100)

  • Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking Details
  • The candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100 by using Credit Card/ Debit Card or Internet Banking.

Step 7 – Printing of CAF

  • The candidates will have to click on the  ‘Print CAF’ button to take the printout of the application form.

Note: Candidates whose details are not validated or verified online (if Class 10th details are not automatically populated), he/ she must visit the nearest nodal centre for data validation and submission of CAF.

The candidates will be selected for admission in various ITI trades based on his/ her marks in Class 10th. If the candidates failed Class 10th and seats are still vacant after all rounds, his/ her marks in Class 8th shall be considered for admission. Intimation Letter Download

  • On the dates specified by DTE Odisha, an SMS or E-Mail shall be sent to candidates regarding the seat allotment.
  • The candidates will have to visit the official website and download the seat intimation letter.
  • The candidates can also call the helpline number 155335 or 1800-345-6770 to know about seat allotment.

Reporting

  • The next stage in the admission process is reporting.
  • The candidates will have to report to the respective ITI within the specified date to confirm admission.
  • The candidates must carry the documents mentioned below at the time of reporting.

The total fee structure for ITI trades in Odisha ITI admission 2024 is as follows:

Government ITIs

  • 75% of seats in government institutes shall be filled up by the local candidates, i.e., candidates of the respective district
  • 25% of seats can be reserved for students of other districts. A separate merit list is prepared for the same.
  • 50% of non-matric trades shall be filled with candidates who have passed Class 8th. the remaining seats shall be filled with candidates who failed HSC (Class 10th exams).
