Panjab Univesity conducts PU LLB entrance exam for admission to the 3 year LLB course offered by the law centres. The exam comprises MCQs that are from various topics such as GK, Reasoning, Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude etc. However, just qualifying for the entrance exam will not be the only basis to get admission. The entrance exam has 50% weightage and the remaining 50% weightage is for the marks secured in the qualifying exam. PU LLB 2022 Entrance Exam Admit Card

The admit card for PU LLB 2022 entrance exam will be out in August  2022. The admit card will comprise all the important information related to the exam such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam centre details, application number, exam date and timings. The admit card will be used as a hall ticket so it is compulsory for the candidates to carry the admit card to the exam centre. All the candidates who successfully register for the exam will be able to download the admit card by referring to the steps given below

• The admit card page will be displayed

PU LLB 2022 Entrance Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of the PU LLB entrance exam includes the exam duration, number of questions, language etc. The exam will be held in offline mode and candidates will get question booklets along with an OMR sheet. PU LLB 2022 Entrance Exam Answer Key

Once the exam gets over, the university will release PU LLB provisional answer key. Those who appeared for the exam can download the PU LLB 2022 answer key by visiting the official website of PU. Candidates can also raise objections against the provisional answer key and if the objections are found to be genuine, a modified answer key will be released. To submit objections against the answer key, candidates also need to submit supporting documents along with their objections. The final answer key, with all the modifications, will be out on the basis of result and merit.

PU LLB 2022 Entrance Exam Merit List 

The university will prepare a merit list post the result. 50% weightage is for the entrance exam score while the other 50% is for the graduation marks. The merit list is important as it will have the names of the candidates who have been shortlisted for counselling. Merit list will be released separately for OBC, SC and ST categories.

PU LLB 2022 Entrance Exam Counselling

Once the merit list has been released, the candidates who have been shortlisted will be asked to appear for counselling. To do so, they will have to download and submit an admission form with the documents. The purpose of counselling is to complete the verification process and check the validity of the documents and information submitted by the candidates. Once the counselling is over, candidates will have to submit the course fee. Given below is the counselling process for PU LLB 2022 entrance exam

• Download and fill the PU LLB admission form.

• Submit the admission form along with the documents

• Report at the counselling venue on the given date and time. The counselling process will be conducted separately so if someone wants to apply in more than one centre, that person will have to visit each counselling centre on a given date

• The seat allotment list will be released

• The last step is fee payment

PU LLB 2022 Entrance Exam Cutoff

After each round of counselling, the university will come up with an admission list that includes the names, ranks of the shortlisted candidates. The last rank in the list is the PU LLB 2022 cutoff. It is the minimum marks accepted for admission and those who do not appear in the 1st PU LLB 2022 cutoff list will have the option of appearing for the next counselling round. The cutoff will be declared separately by all the participating colleges.
