The main difference between PMT and NEET is that PMT has been scrapped and NEET has become the only entrance exam for MBBS admission in India. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) replaced the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) in 2017. There are major differences between PMT and NEET exams in the registration process. The PMT or APMT exam application form was published by the respective state authority. On the other hand, the registration process for the NEET exam is conducted by NTA. Only one application per student is accepted by the NTA at the national level.
