JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A (BArch) - Admit Card, Exam Date, Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Latest Update

JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A (BArch): The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Session 2 JEE Main Paper 2A 2024 exam on April 12, 2024.  As per the latest announcement, the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A Session 2 exam will start on April 12, 2024. For admission to the B.Arch course and BPlan course, the JEE Main Paper 2 test is conducted. Except for the sketching portion (drawing section), the exam is conducted online as a computer-based test. JEE Main Paper 2 is divided into two parts: Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Plan. Questions from the Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing areas are asked in the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A. Questions on Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning are included in Paper 2B.

JEE Main Paper 2A of BArch will consist of 82 questions in total, 50 from General Aptitude, 30 from Mathematics, and 2 from Drawing section. JEE Main  2024 Paper 2B of B.Plan consists of 50 questions on general aptitude, 30 on mathematics, and 25 on planning. JEE Main Admit Card 2024 Paper 2

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main Paper 2 admit card on March 29, 2024, in online mode jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who successfully register for the JEE Main exam will be able to download the admit card. To take the test, candidates must download their JEE Main admit card 2024 and carry it to the exam centre along with identification documents. Applicants will only be permitted to take the test with a valid admit card. 

How to Download JEE Main 2024 Admit Card Paper 2?

Step 1: Go to JEE Main 2024 official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the JEE Main 2024 admit card download link.

Step 3: Enter JEE Main application number 2024 and your password and click on submit. 

Step 4: The admit card will show up on the screen.

Step 5: Download the hall ticket, then print it off.

JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A (B.Arch) Eligibility Criteria

The JEE Main Paper 2A application form fill-up process can be divided into the following stages -

Applicants who have appeared in the previous phase/s of the JEE Main 2A paper do not have to go through the first three stages of the application process. They can simply log in with their existing user credentials and pay the application fee for the particular phase of the exam and that will be it.

JEE Main 2024 2A Paper Exam Pattern

There are no changes in the exam pattern of the JEE Main 2024 2A paper and the same has been provided below - 

• The paper will be divided into 3 sections - Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test

• The Mathematics section will comprise 20 MCQ and 10 numerical value questions and will carry a maximum mark of 100

• The Aptitude Test section will comprise a total of 50 questions for a maximum mark of 200

• The Drawing Test section will comprise a total of 02 questions for a maximum mark of 100

• There will be a total of 82 questions in the 2A paper of JEE Main 2024 and the maximum marks will be 400

• Each MCQ question will carry 4 marks and for every wrong attempt/response, 1 mark will be deducted

• There will be no negative marking for the numerical value questions and they too will carry 4 marks each

There are no changes made by the NTA in the JEE Main 2024 2A paper syllabus. Aspirants are advised to go through the JEE Main B. Planning and B. JEE Main Counselling 2024

After the JEE Main result is announced, the JEE Main counselling will commence. The JoSAA will conduct the counselling for admission to the BArch and BPlan courses. The JEE Main Counselling Process 2024 will include stages like registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification round, etc. Candidates who want to study BArch and BPlan courses in GFTIs, IIEST Shibpur, and NITs, students should register for the counselling.
