JEE Main 2023 Paper 2A (BArch): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2024 exam dates for Sessions 1 & 2 on the official website nta.ac.in. JEE Main exam 2024session 1 will start on January 24, 2024.For admission to the B.Arch course and BPlan course, the JEE Main Paper 2 test is conducted. Except for the sketching portion (drawing section), the exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test. JEE Main Paper 2 is divided into two parts: Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Plan. Questions from the Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing areas are asked in the B.Arch 2A paper. JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A Application Form
The JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A application form fill-up process can be divided into the following stages -

Stage 1 | Registration | Applicants have to visit the official website of NTA and click on the “New Registrations” link to register themselves. While registering, the applicants have to provide their basic personal details like name, date of birth, gender, nationality, email address, etc. After successfully registering, the applicants have to note down their registration number and password for the next stages |
Stage 2 | Filling out the Online Application Form | Applicants have to completely fill out the online application form with all the basic personal details asked for in the respective boxes. After submitting all the details, the applicants have to note down the new registration ID generated |
Stage 3 | Uploading Documents | Applicants have to upload scanned copies of all their important documents and certificates as per the specifications mentioned on the form |
Stage 4 | Payment of Registration Fee | Applicants have to pay the JEE Main registration fee via any of the available payment options available |

Applicants who have appeared in the previous phase/s of the JEE Main 2A paper do not have to go through the first three stages of the application process. They can simply log in with their existing user credentials and pay the application fee for the particular phase of the exam and that will be it.

JEE Main 2024 2A Paper Exam Pattern
There are no changes in the exam pattern of the JEE Main 2024 2A paper and the same has been provided below -
The paper will be divided into 3 sections - Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test
The Mathematics section will comprise 20 MCQ and 10 numerical value questions and will carry a maximum mark of 100
The Aptitude Test section will comprise a total of 50 questions for a maximum mark of 200
The Drawing Test section will comprise a total of 02 questions for a maximum mark of 100
There will be a total of 82 questions in the 2A paper of JEE Main 2024 and the maximum marks will be 400
Each MCQ question will carry 4 marks and for every wrong attempt/response, 1 mark will be deducted
There will be no negative marking for the numerical value questions and they too will carry 4 marks each
